Craig's pov

The whole ride there Tyler and I didn't say a word to each other. I stared out the window as he kept his attention on the road.

It was around 12 am when we got back to the apartment. I fiddled with my keys before finding the correct one and putting it into the keyhole and jiggle it around before hearing the famous click meaning it was unlocked. I push open the door and walk in, throwing the keys on the counter and watch as Tyler closes the door.

Tyler takes off his suit jacket and places it nicely on the chair before going into the kitchen and turning the kettle on. I cock my eyebrow at his actions as he didn't drink coffee.

"I thought you didn't drink coffee?" I question. He ignores me and goes into the bedroom we shared and closed the door. I sigh before taking off my own suit jacket and placing it over Tyler's.

Once the water was boiling I poured myself a cup of coffee and made my way out onto the balcony.

I take small sips from my coffee as I look out over the city. Tonight's events replaying in my head making me grip the hot mug in my hands. The steam from the coffee went up in my face, filling my nose with the familiar smell of coffee.

Tyler made a pretty big scene, even though it was friday I still wasn't looking forward to Monday.

Then I started thinking about my parents. It surprised me a lot to see them there, I couldn't quite wrap my finger around what was even happening in the moment, especially when Tyler came into play. He got himself stuck in this whole family shit thing now which is actually not what I wanted. It's the last thing I wanted. I don't need Tyler being apart of my family problems, he's gone through enough as it is.

I feel a tear make it's way down my cheek and into my lap as I overthink everything in my life.

I'm brought back to reality when I hear the slide door open revealing Tyler wearing nothing but black sweatpants. His hair was wet meaning he had just showered.

He looks out into the city like I was, but makes no movement besides that. I sigh, starting to get annoyed with the way he was acting.

"Are you just, not gonna talk to me or what?" I speak up. He sighs before finally looking at me. "We'll talk, tomorrow." My eyes widen at his response as I turn my head to him. "Are you serious?" I ask. He just nods before going back into the apartment and closing the door, leaving me to overthink everything.

Was he seriously gonna leave me out here after what just happened? He's acting as if he were in my situation which was really starting to piss me off. All I wanted was to cuddle with Tyler and forget about my life for the few hours I would be awake. But since he's acting like a total bitch that won't be happening.

After finishing my coffee I go back inside and put the empty mug in the sink before making my way to our room. I go in quietly to see Tyler already fast asleep. I smile and go over to the dresser and grab a pair of Jean's and grab a t-shirt of his before making my way out of the room. Closing the door quietly behind me to leave Tyler to sleep.

I changed into the clothes I brought and folded the suit nicely and set it down gently on the couch before grabbing my phone, keys and wallet then leaving the apartment. I need time to myself, staring off into the city from above didn't help with a situation like this. And with Tyler being all moody, it didn't help.

It was dark out as it was 1 in the morning. The streets were silent as people were sleeping at home.

My apartment building isn't in the worst neighborhood but not the best either. Especially at night like this, you have to be careful and observant of your surroundings.
