Percy

I woke up bright and early the next morning. After freshening up, I grabbed my bag and marched out of my room and into the common room. I was the first one there but soon enough, soldiers started to trickle in with their bags to head back home. When I was sure that everyone was awake and here, I led the soldiers outside to Thalia’s pine tree. We waited there for the campers to arrive and in about 5 minutes, they came dashing toward the hill. After they came, we started to march away from the hill. I was at the end of the line, pushing the soldiers along. When we got to the bottom of the hill, we all turned around, and saluted to the campers that were still watching us from the top of the hill. It was Chaos’ way of saying a final good bye. Then my soldiers turned once again but I stayed facing the camp. Zoe stood alongside me. I scanned to faces on the top of the hill, then raised my hand with my palm facing them and waved. The camp waved back and I turned back around and pushed my soldiers off into the mortal world. I did not look back again.

We kept on walking. At some point, Chaos created a portal for us and we filed in. I found myself back home. I sighed and walked to my room in Chaos’ palace. I knew that I would see my old friends again…someday.

Epilogue

518 Years Later

Chaos has summoned me. “Perseus, I have a new mission for you. You must return to Earth or Camp Half-Blood to be more specific.” He said. I hurried to my room and I took out the picture that was taken so many years ago. A sad and faint smile came upon my lips. I was right. We would meet once again.
