Justin's P.O.V.
The doorbell rang. Getting up from the couch, I went to the front door. Right now, I was the only one in the house that was awake. Scooter was out getting fitted for his tux, and Selena was dead asleep in our bedroom. Last night she was cramming for her final on Monday.
Answering the door, two men were there. They were both carrying a box that contained samples of cake. Pointing to the kitchen, they rushed in. They set the boxes onto the table then waited. Staring at them with awkward eyes, I wondered why they were still here.
"Oh yeah, I'm supposed to pay you guys," I said as I dug into my pocket for my wallet. They both nodded. Taking out my wallet, I wasn't sure how much I was supposed to pay. Taking an even amount of money out for the two of them, I handed it to them. Nodding, they left with a smile.
Closing the door behind them, I slipped my wallet back into my pocket. I smiled then walked down the hallway towards our bedroom. Taking a deep breathe, I opened the door. Peeking my head in, Selena was still sound asleep.
Walking over to the desk, I pulled out the chair. Dragging it over to the bed, I then straddled the seat. Placing my arms around the head of the chair, I then rested my chin on the top of my hands. Staring at Selena, my smile grew wider.
Her head rested against the pillow, revealing her stunning profile. She has a slight smile on her face. The covers were pulled up above her chest. Selena has her hands placed in a prayer position against her cheek and the pillow.
She rolled over, so her face was now in her pillow; this made me softly laugh. Breaking my stare, I got up from the chair. Making my way over to our bed, I sat down. Now staring at her again, I couldn't help myself. As much as I would love to sit here and watch Selena sleep, I needed her to wake up.
Shaking her shoulder, she lightly groaned. Selena still seemed to be half asleep. Shaking her again, she rolled over onto her back. Letting out a loud groan, she rubbed her eyes.
"Rise and shine babe, we have cake to try," I said in a way that I tired to make it rhyme but utterly failed. Selena laughed then sat up in her bed.
She picked her pajama top up a little so it wouldn't show as much cleavage. Our eyes then met. Selena looked at me with annoyance. 'Someone is not a morning person,' I thought. Smiling, I then signaled for Selena to follow me. She continued to groan.
"C'mon we need to try some cake," I said then signaled for her to get out of bed. Selena glared then shook her head; she was definitely not a morning person.
"Babe if you really love me, you'll let me sleep. You know how late I was up last night. So please just let me----Wait did you say cake?" she asked with her eyes growing wide. Laughing, I now knew that Selena was wide awake.
Selena sprung up out of bed. She almost tripped over her purple polka dotted pajama bottoms as she jumped into her slippers. She ran over to me and flew out the door. 'I should've just started with the word cake,' I thought then followed Selena out the doorway.
Once I was in the hallway, I saw Selena was already at the end of it. Her hair whisked as she darted into the kitchen. Now running, I rushed into the kitchen. Selena already had two forks ready for us.
Taking a seat next to her, she handed me my fork. After she handed me the fork, she went to the first box and peeled back the plastic wrap. She put the plastic wrap off to the side then evened out the box so it was in the middle of us.
"Oh my gosh! These all look so delicious! I don't even know where to start," she said as she licked her lips. Selena then placed her fork around the samples. Laughing, I glared at the chocolate cake.
