Chapter 10: Let's Try

Justin's P.O.V.

"I'm Justin Bieber, and I love you," I said then went off stage. All the beliebers cheered and there were mumbles of 'I love you'. Once I was backstage, I began running to my dressing room. Going down the hallway, I ran into Barbara. I stopped then rolled my eyes.

We have been on tour for three weeks now and Barbara has already gotten mine and Selena's video call schedule down. Talk about stalker.

Ever since Selena made out with Chase and it hit the news, Barbara has been clingy with me, on stage, she'll put more effort into the dance moves and one show she even tried to kiss me. Yes, we talked it out for 3 hours. Of course I was hurt, and I have always hated Chase. But she convinced me that it was a mistake and she would never do it again. Of course I had to forgive her; I mean after what I did in Paris to Selena, I owed it to her.

Plus I didn't want to be in an argument with Selena while I was on tour. It would just mess with my mind, and I can't stand when she is upset with me. Overall, everything worked out and I'm glad it did. I mean she still hangs out with Chase, but she has made it clear about the boundaries. Thank goodness. Also thankfully, we video call everyday and talk on the phone constantly, so really if Selena is with Chase, I'm there also.

Barbara crossed her arms under her chest and raised her eyebrows at me. Rolling my eyes, I shook my head.

"Let me guess, you're going to video call Selena right now?" she asked. Nodding, I waited for a response from her. She groaned.

"Why do you have to video call her every day? I mean the girl cheated on you!" she comes over to me and lays her hands on my shoulders, "I would never do that to you," she assured. Sighing, I shook my head. Barbara knew I couldn't.

While removing her hands from my shoulders, "Barbara we hang out all the time. I haven't seen Selena for 3 weeks now. I'm going to video call her," I said as I pushed past her.

"You always see her! You call her every freaking day! Plus I bet she is cheating on you right now!" she yelled then stormed off. 'Barbara, she isn't cheating on me and seeing her on video call isn't the same as seeing her in person,' I thought.

Continuing down the hall, I headed to my dressing room. Everyone stayed out of my way. Okay maybe Barbara wasn't a stalker. Everyone pretty much had mine and Selena's video call schedule down. Barbara was the only one who ever tried to stop it.

But if I didn't get to see Selena on a video call one day, I would become depressed. I wouldn't do my best at the shows, and it would be miserable for everyone. It's happened more than twice before, and hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Opening the door, I went into the dressing room. Taking my phone off the table, I went to the video call. Sitting down in the seat, I waited for Selena to answer my video call. Then Selena appeared on my screen.

She was lying down on our bed back in Scooter's house. She had her phone in a position where it showed she was laying flat on her stomach. It showed some of our room behind her. Selena's smile was so wide.

"Hey babe! How was your show tonight?" Selena asked with joy. She always asked that to start off our conversation at night.

"It was good, but I really miss you," I admitted looking into her eyes. My eyes began to water up. Seriously I missed her so much. This was getting really hard. Just seeing her on a video call wasn't enough.

"Awuh babe, I miss you too," Selena admitted. Smiling, I looked down at the floor. This tour wasn't going to be over until a year. I'm not sure how I'll survive.

I've been trying my best out here. It's just so hard. To have the love of your life away from you, and you can only see them on a video call.

"Selena, I really miss you. I wish you were here. I know you can't come because of your school. But I wish you were here," I admitted. Selena sighed. I knew she was feeling the same way. She wanted to be here. However, we both knew that couldn't happen.
