Sunwoo POV
I sighed while entering my shared mansion with some others. Today was a long day and even if I were to lie, I can't deny it. My sweaty friends, also known as The Boyz, all looked at me as soon as they heard the door clink.
'They must've practiced without me...' I thought. I didn't care if they'd practice with or without me. After all, my parents were against with me being an idol and in the end I'd always be the next heir to our company.
"Hey Sunwoo. What took you so long to meet your parents-"
"It's none of your business." I ignored Sangyeon hyung's words but was immediately pulled back by Younghoon hyung.
"What do you want?" I raised an eyebrow
"That's not how you talk to your hyungs. Second, it's not me but us who wants to talk to you. Can you please do that-"
"5 minutes. I'm giving you guys 5 minutes." I said raising 5 fingers up and he just smiled and walked with me to the guys. I rolled my eyes and motioned them to speak ahead.
"Just as I said earlier, you're not like your usual self. Did something go wrong during your meeting with your parents?" Sangyeon hyung spoke and I just shook my head as a "no"
"Then what's up?" Eric asked beside me but I just looked down on the floor. Questions flooded in my head if I were to tell them my reason to be like "this."
Kevin hyung suddenly placed his hand behind my back, together with Jacob hyung and rubbed it to calm me down.
"Sunwoo... take your time. It must've been hard for you..." Changmin hyung smiled bitterly
"It's... I don't think I could be with you guys any longer." I finally blurted out and when I raised my head up, they looked like they were expecting it.
"You do know what you said, right?" Chanhee hyung asked to make sure of what he heard
"Yep. Just like what you heard. I don't think I can last any longer due to my family's company." I said trying to take off my matching ring with the rest of the guys. Haknyeon hyung was quick to notice and stopped me for removing it any further
"Hey. This doesn't mean you'll leave us completely. We'll see each other everyday unless we are busy doing our own business." Haknyeon pointed out and it was a given since we lived together.
I nodded but still... Things will eventually change.
I heard Sangyeon hyung stand up and he suddenly smacked my head.
"Cheer up, Sunwoo. We're going through this together."
"Ow! What was that for?" I yelled but I got another smack from him
"Yeah! Don't let things bring you down!" Juyeon shouted and a jealous Eric ran to hug him. Smh.
"How about let's do a small party for Sunwoo tonight?" Sangyeon hyung suggested and everyone except me stood up to get ready
"I'll get the juice." I volunteered and they just let me off.
I went out to leave my mansion and made my way to any big convenience store or groceries nearby.
"I must make sure that I get my pear juice." I clenched my fist since the guys stole my last few. While walking, I realized that something was wrong.
"Didn't I pass by this building a while ago?" I asked myself and tried walking in a different path but I still saw the same. I was near to giving up but I saw a girl carrying ... a boy?
It peeked my interest and followed them, just in case they can lead me to my destination. Fortunately, it did.
"nice." I rushed inside the convenience store and bought juices and drink as many as my arms can carry. Once my arms were full, I checked out at the counter and went out.
I heard some sobbing at the bench beside the door and it was the girl crying on the boy's hand.
'What is this? Some kind of street playing?'
But then she started saying some stuff but a familiar name was mentioned before she broke down once again.
"... but why does it have to be with my brother, Chenle? He deserves better?"
'Isn't Chenle also from a rich family like me? Hm...I think there was a rumour of him and his sister being chased out of their house while their parents just vanished like poof!'
I stood behind her, feeling sympathetic. I tapped her shoulder and grabbed two packets of juice. I hid my face under my hoodie while she wiped her tears, turning around to me. We had a small staring contest and she suddenly spoke
"You're the red hooded hamburger buns dude, ema rite?"
'What the fuck? Hamburger buns dude?'
