Chapter 15

Lisa's POV

Weeks had passed since our classes started officially. It has been great because our group of friends are in the same class! For the last weeks, a lot of things happened. ChaeSoo finally told us that they were already together. SeulRene are going stronger than ever. Byul is already courting Solar, they look really good together. Niki has met new friends, and is hanging out with them recently. While me and Jennie, we're going steady. We're not together yet, but I started courting her as well.

We're currently listening to Mr. Eunwoo teach math. To be honest, this is my least favorite subject, math is hard! It's a good thing that he's a great teacher, and he makes sure that we understand everything that he's teaching. If one of us can't keep up during his classes, he'll offer private lessons after all of our classes. He's cool.

Finally! Lunch time! As much as Mr. Eunwoo is great at teaching, I just can't really stand numbers. It's a good thing that I have never experienced having nose bleeds 'cause I really feel like having one during Math time.

We're all heading to the cafeteria, I have my arms wrapped around Jennie's shoulders, I'm back hugging her while we're walking. I can hear her cute little giggles that makes me smile as well.

"Eww, get a room!" I heard Jisoo unnie and saw her giving us a disgusted look.

"You don't have to be jealous unnie. You can also do that to Chaeng.... Oh wait, you can't." I teased her. She gave me a confused look but then started glaring.

"Yah! How dare you mock me?!" I quickly run off towards the cafeteria, Jisoo unnie tried keeping up with me, but I'm still far ahead of her because of her short legs.

"Keep up unnie!" I shouted while laughing loudly.

Our group is already sitting at our usual table, we've already got our foods. We were eating and talking peacefully, with a little banters here and there.

"Fancy seeing you again Jennie." All of us turned our attention to the person talking. Kim Jongin, part of the football team.

I placed my arm protectively over Jennie and pulled her closer to me. What is he doing here? I was about to ask what did he want, when unnie stood up aggressively.

"Why the hell are you here?!" I was shocked to say the least. Unnie is giving Jongin the glare that she gave me when Jennie pulled that prank on her.

"Unnie..." Jennie tried to pull unnie to sit down but she harshly took her hand away.

"Don't unnie me Jennie." Okay what is going on? I turned to Chaeng and gave her a questioning look, but she just gave me a sad smile, and motioned me to stay quiet.

Even though unnie is way shorter than Jongin, you can really see that she's intimidating him. This is the type of Jisoo unnie that you don't want to see, already experienced it first hand.

Unnie took his collar and was about to punch him, I heard Jennie whimpering while looking at them. I immediately stood up and held unnie's hand.

"Get away from me Lisa!" She started thrashing around with fury.

Chaeng held unnie and tried talking to her. I glanced at Nini and saw her being comforted by Irene. I faced Jongin again.

"Why are you here? What the hell do you want with Jennie and why is Jisoo trying to kill you?" I crossed my arms and gave him a serious look.

He fixed his shirt while grinning, "Oh Lisa.... You're still clueless about everything. I feel so sad for you. Jennie and I, we go way back." They were a thing? But how?

He moved closer and whispered, "Better not let her slip away from you Lisa. I'm back." He gave me a smirk while patting my shoulder.

What the hell is he talking about?? How come he knows Jennie? She just transferred this year, and from the looks of it, she's not even close with Jisoo unnie so I'm pretty sure that they couldn't have met through her.... Or did they?

I felt Byul tapping my shoulder, "You okay Lis?" She says while offering me to sit again. I was completely lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice that Jongin already left.

I nodded my head but kept quiet. I can see how Jennie is still shaken up with what happened. She's still being comforted by Irene, I continue to stare at her but it was obvious that she was avoiding my gaze. I sighed and turned to see Chaeng and Jisoo unnie talking. They were talking to each other quietly, as if they didn't want us to hear what they were arguing about. I hear unnie scoffed while I can see Chaeng getting frustrated already.

I used my hand as a pillow and placed my head on the table, I'm really freaking clueless about everything. My curiosity is already eating out my brain, I'm getting exhausted with all of this mind thinking shit.

"Lili.... I'm completely ready." I felt Jennie touching my back.

I sat up straight making her hand fall, "Okay, let's go."

We've been here for 5 minutes already, I am holding and rubbing her hand with my thumb, waiting for her patiently. This always happens everytime we go here, a few minutes of silence before the actual talk. The comforting place helps us think.

"What did he told you?" I felt her holding my hand tighter.

I sighed, "It was nothing really, he just told me that you guys knew each other."

I can feel her hands trembling, "You saw unnie's reaction right?" I nodded.

Jennie's POV

Here goes nothing.....

"He was my ex-boyfriend. Kim Jongin. We went to the same school when we were in our freshman years. I know we were still young to be in a relatioship, but I loved him so much." I saw how Lisa's expression changed when I mentioned the word love.

I continued, "One day, he invited me over to his house, it started off innocently. We were watching movies, eating, talking about different things. I didn't even noticed that he spiked something that I was either drinking or eating." I started sobbing, I felt Lisa wrap her arms around me and stroking my back.

"I don't know what happened to me. I passed out, but when I woke up, I felt hot, I felt needy and he was there. He told me that I can trust him and I did. I had no choice but to give in. I loved him and I was so sure he felt the same as well. The week after that, Irene told me what he and his group of friends did." At this point, I was already crying uncontrollably. I held onto Lisa as much as I can.

"He... They made a video Lis...." I felt her stiffened. I can feel her shaking, I looked up and saw her eyes full of rage.

"I'll kill him... I'm gonna kill him!" She stood up and was about to leave, but I held onto her.

I shook my head and hugged her tight, I felt her calm down. She made us sit down again while I'm still clinging onto her tightly.

"I'm sorry." I heard her whisper.

"What are you sorry for? You didn't do anything Lisa. I didn't even know you then."

She let go of the hug and made me face her, "I'll protect you Jennie. I won't let him come close to you."

"Aren't you disgusted of me?" I asked with a small voice.

"Why would you even think that? I love you even more because of that! I want to protect you from all of the bad things. I know it might be hard for you trust someone again, but I promise you I will stay no matter what. You'll always have me my Nini. Always." I felt my heartbeat going faster. She loves me?

"You love me?" I heard her sigh.

"I do, and I am so damn blessed to have you in my life Nini. You have no idea. You don't have to tell me that you love me too, I just want you to feel that you are loved, no matter what happened in your past." I felt her kissing the top of my head, my tears are continuously streaming down my face. A while ago it was because of sadness and the painful memory finding it's way back to my fragile heart. But now, it's because of happiness, it's because of Lisa.
