The day of the match

CHAPTER 4

Isabella POV

After that day me and Kaya have become best friends. I'm also no longer jealous of when she spends time alone with Thomas although most of the time we are in a group of the six of us which is Thomas, Dylan, Ki Hong, Will and of course me and Kaya. But whenever I see Kaya with Dylan I give her a secret grin just between the two of us and she does the same with me and Thomas.

I put my tray down next to Will's and sit down. The boys are talking about the school rugby (English) match on Friday and how they were so going to beat the school Wicked (see what I did there?). The last time they played against the Wicked school we won and Wicked accused us of cheating and all the boys got in a fight. Since the boys heard that they were having a rematch they've been spending all their time after school training at the rugby field or in the gym so me and Kaya have managed to spend more time together but we can't wait until the match is over so we can go back to spending more time together as a group.

"Iz, you are coming to watch us right?" Thomas asked suddenly. All the boys look over at ne , waiting for me to answer.

"Of course! How can I miss it? I have to be there to cheer you on. Anyway this is the biggest match since.... Well I don't know but the whole school is going to be there so you better win!" I answer and Thomas chuckles .

"Yeah and when you and Kaya cheer us on you better be wearing mini skirts and tank tops!" Dylan comments, grinning as if he was thinking about it. So I playfully punched him in the shoulder which made the others laugh.

"Oww!" Dylan says which makes us all laugh again.

"Dylan's right though if you want us to win I think that's the best outfit to wear. Although it's after nothing!" Ki Hong grins cheekily and me and Kaya slap him which him stop grinning but you can tell he is still thinking about it!

"I think that'll distract you more then help you and we need you focused in the match!" Thomas remarks about what Ki Hong said chucking.

"OK then we will wear that to your rugby match if all of you wear that to our next hockey match!" Kaya replies which makes them shut up about it. She then smiles as if she won a small victory which she did in some way.

"Uh oh..... Uh oh...uh oh" Will suddenly says without looking up from his phone and that's when I realise he hasn't spoken for a while which is unusual for him especially when we were talking about what me and Kaya should wear to their match.

"What happened?" I ask suddenly panicking. Instead of answering he shows us a picture of a muscular, tall guy that looked like he was in his late twentys .

Then says "That's Wickeds secret weapon!" Will, since his cousin goes to Wicked, is getting information about their team and this information doesn't seem so good....

"What man? He looks around twenty!" Dylan says, snatching the phone from Will.

"He's just turned seventeen which means he's the same age as us but he's twice as big!"

"Maybe it's just the photo that makes him look big...." Thomas suggests

"Maybe" we all reply hoping he's right.

Thomas POV

"Oh mama! It's not just the photo!" Dylan says and he's right this man, no boy, no.... whatever he is, is HUGE! Looking at the team everyone seems shaken up even the coach Mr Parks who is always saying we can beat EVERYONE no matter what their size is but it doesn't look like he's going to say it.
