DANCE? Part 1

CHAPTER 5

Izzy POV

The dance is next Friday and so far no ones asked me. But it's not the fact that no ones asked me it's the fact that Thomas hasn't asked me which makes me annoyed. I'm not expecting him to ask me it's just words spreading that he likes me and I think he knows I like him so why wouldn't he ask me?

I look at Thomas who's opposite me and Dylan. Dylan! Kaya! I look around wondering where Kaya is and then spot her queing for lunch so I whisper to Dylan "Ask her to the dance" nodding at Kaya. Dylan's eyes widen and he starts choking on his burger but he still manages to spit out "WHAT?"

I laugh then reply saying its obvious you like her and I know she'll say yes. I then walk off before I can see Dylan's expression.

Thomas POV

I watch Iz wondering how I'm going to ask her to the dance and if she will say yes. I don't think I would of even thought about asking her if Dylan hadn't told me she liked me as I would of been to scared that she would of said no and that it will start to be akward between us.

I see Izzy look around for someone then whisper something to Dylan. Whatever she said to Dylan made him start choking but then he shouted out "WHAT?" which made everyone in the lunch hall stare at him. Izzy then whispered something else and then got up and walked off as soon as she left Dylan started grinning like an idiot. I felt a bit jealous at Dylan but recovered and ran after her.

"Izzy, wait up!" I shouted at her. She stopped and turned around with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Yep?" She asked me, still smiling.  My heart started to thud so loud that I was supposed she couldn't hear.

"Izzy will you go.....do you want to......,only if you.......if you are not going with any.........." I don't think I've ever been this nervous before when I'm about to give up I remember something coach said "if you don't face your fears, head up then your a slinthead" I smile as I remember all of the teams shocked faces.

I start again, "Isabella Taylor, will you go to the dance with me?" I said before my sudden confidence left me again.
