A/N: Hey duffs, as you can see I'm back! First I thought about making an announcement an all... then I thought it's not really my style, so. Anywho, this story has been written with a lot of love and I'm very excited to share this with you! 💝

I Love You,
Cuz You Know What To Say!Niti heard Parth loudly ascend the stairs towards her bedroom, at an alarming speed and not to mention causing a ruckus.
"Shit" she muttered under her breath and ran along the length of her room, straight to her cupboard. She panickedly ran a hand through her hair. "Why did he have to be so goddamn early today" she cursed at the wall.
Not five minutes ago she was slouching dejectedly on the chair in front of her bedroom mirror and wallowing in self pity and now all of a sudden she is running helter skelter to fix the mess that's herself.
Parth was supposed to be at least another half hour, at least that's what he said half an hour ago. "It'll take me 30" he said and he is always- ALWAYS- late! Why is it that the only time he is on time is today? Goddamnit... she couldn't let him see herself like that.
"Hey babe I'm here, can I come in?" He asked.
"Uh ..." she glanced over at things and threw over the first thing she thought would cover, "yes, sure" she said taming her voice.
"Alright let's see-" Parth stopped halfway, his eyes clocking a bewildered expression.
"Why are you standing in a bathing gown?" He asked, the shock clear in his voice, then gradually an amused expression took over. "We weren't going swimming, were we?" He asked chuckling.
"Very funny Parth" Niti deadpanned still keeping the bathing gown tightly wrapped around her body.
"No I'm evidently not the funny one" he said arching an eyebrow as he checked her out. "You wanna tell me whats going on?" He said taking a step forward, his voice suddenly kind of serious.
"Nothing" she said, trying hard and failing miserably to keep her voice neutral. Their was a catch and he'd gotten it, she knew by the look on his face.
"Niti, baby, what is it?" He asked walking up to her and putting his hands on her shoulder, but she shrugged them off.
"If it's nothing, then just take it off" he said sliding his palms beneath her arms, his fingers circling on the knot, threatning to let it loose. She gulped when she felt the touch of his fingers on her body, through the fabric. She took a deep wavering breath and she almost lost it but...
"Parth don't" she said swatting his hands and taking a step back. She had acted quickly enough but she knew his fingers had lingered there for a few seconds... long enough to know.
"Niti...." he said biting his lip, probably debating whether or not to say it, "I think I already know what it is" he finally said in what sounded like a whisper but it fell on her like thunder. As if the thing already wasn't enough, now there was the humiliation of getting caught hiding it. Niti hung her head low, not able to meet his eyes.
"Hey" Parth said, his voice as soft as a feather. He cupped her cheek with one hand and held up her chin with another. She did not resist. "Look at me" he said pleading, when she still hadn't looked up at him.
Niti gulped audibly, pushing down her pride. He was being good; she needed to stop being a prick if they were to have this conversation (which they were, cause Parth wouldn't rest until they had).
When she looked up and met his eyes though, his gaze was so intense, she felt like she was melting from within. There was so much warmth and understanding in it that she felt almost guilty for pulling that stunt.
"I'm sorry" she said in the same small voice she used when she regretted something, even if only a bit.
"You've nothing to be sorry about" he said, his thumb grazing her cheek. "Come here" he said stepping back and extending his arm. She took it and walked her up to the mirror.
"Alright now" he said standing behind her, as he slowly draped his arms around her waist and quickly untied the knot. He then tugged at the silk fabric and patiently let it slip off her shoulder and onto the ground.
"Fuck" Niti said visibly stiffening for only a moment or two before trying to put an arm over the naked flesh now staring back at her from the reflection.
"Don't cover it" he said plainly.
"Parth please" she said her breath hitching and her discomfort palpable. He gently kissed the shell of her ear, while simultaneously taking her hand off her slightly pudgy stomach. She had put on weight during the summers, but she hadn't really noticed it. So when she and Parth decided to go out clubbing that evening, she took out her black noodle strap crop top and white skirt; everybody always said she looked great in it. Only it did not go as planned. When she put on the dress she noticed that the area around her waist and stomach, the one that would be starkly naked and very visible, had put on some weight. Her lower belly poked out a bit from beneath her tight white skirt and her stomach- well the flesh was loose and chubby!
"Now see... look at her" he said.
"I do and I hate it" she said pulling a face.
"Look at her, she is the most gorgeous girl I've ever laid eyes on!" He said with utmost earnestness.
"But I don't-" he cut her off.
"You have nothing to be ashamed of love; be proud of your body, always. Love it, I do" he said winking.
"But your so perfect, it's easy for you to say" she said lifting up his shirt to show his perfectly toned body.
"Well someone has to compensate for all the flesh I lack" he said and she rolled her eyes.
"You're beautiful and you're an idiot you don't realise that. Look, Niti we're human being not sewing needles! We can't always have the same weight; not an inch more or less. That not how it works. We put on some weight here we lose some there... its a cycle. You can't be the same size all the bloody time. It's maddness! What's happened here is absolutely normal and you should enjoy and love it cause it's sign of all the pizza and cola that you've binged on... plus I think it's cute!"
"Yeah?"
"Yeah" he said planting a kiss on her nose.
