I love you,
Cause you let me take care of you!

"Hello Niti" Victor said tapping his foot loudly against the floorboards. "This is Parth's roommate-"

"Yeah I know" she cuts him off "he talks a lot about you" she says pleasantly.

"Honoured to know that and nice to finally talk to the lady my roommate nevers shuts up about" he said and Niti could almost hear the blush in his voice. She laughed in response.

"Well nice to talk to you too Vic. I can call you that right?" She asks and he hums in response. "So how come am I hearing from you?" She asks because it was a little strange to be honest.

"Yes that's what I called about actually. Can you come here right now? I think he's come down with a flu" he said rather hurriedly.

"Yeah I'll be there in 20. Can you manage till then?" She asked and he could movement in the other side.

"Yeah sure."

About half hour later, Niti jogged up the stairs of Parth snd Victor's shared apartment. He had kept the door open, so she walked straight in and then into the bedroom.

"Hey" she said, just a little out of breath. She was standing in the doorway.

"Hey" Victor said walked up to her, enveloping her in a soft embrace. "Nice to meet you, properly" he said.

"You too" she smiled.

"I told him not to bother you, I'd have managed" Parth said weakly, eyes half open lying on the bed.

"Hello to you too" she said sarcastically and Victor chuckled.

"Hey you can't do that, I'm sick" Parth said in mock offence.

"Right, you're sick. You can't manage" she replied sternly.

"Truth is, I wouldn't have called you. Between Parth and I, clumsy as we are, we would have managed but I have leave for home today. It's urgent. I have a train to catch in 2 hours and I didn't think it would be good idea to leave him alone for the night" Victor said clearing his throat.

"Don't worry you did the right thing" she said.

Niti took a moment and looked at him all dressed; well this would explain that and then her eyes shot to the duffle bag that she hadn't noticed earlier.

"Then you better leave. Aren't you already late?" She asked feeling a little guilty for holding him up.

"No" he laughed a little, but it was good natured. "I still have plenty of time" he said and she nodded, even though she knew 'plenty' was not the word she would use.

"Okay then, take care man" he said looking at Parth "and you too" he told her and then left, shutting the door behind him.

"You don't look very well" Niti remarked seeing the dark bags under his eyes and the pallour of his skin.

"Well duh I'm down with a flu" Parth said, chuckling weakly.

"I'm gonna ignore the sass for the moment" Niti said throwing her bag on the couch. "I doubt you'd have survived the week, even without the flu" she said honestly. They hadn't seen each other for week and this was honestly the worst she's seen him in over a month.
