I felt like this chapter will be cheesy as heck so please bear with me.

"Funneh, you sure you'll be okay?" I nodded at Gold and gave her a reassuring smile. I'll be fine. I'm not going to be the weak and nice Funneh anymore. I'll be the strong Funneh who they can't push around whenever they like.

I breathed in and out. "Come on Gold. We can't be late for morning assembly."

Gold hesitated for a moment, as if contemplating whether she should send me home or not but kept her mouth shut.

Gold trailed behind me as I kept my head high, ignoring the loud buzzing of students around me. I entered the school building, only to be greeted by a huge mob of student's and two nasty faces as their leaders. "Oh, look who it is."

I rolled my eyes. Great, my morning is now ruined. "Good morning. Felicia, Brittney." I spat their names like venom, giving them a close-eyed smile. They seem to be taken aback by my tone but regained their 'I-am-a-spoiled-rich-kid' attitude immediately.

"There's nothing good in the morning when I see your ugly face." Felicia retorted with a smug smirk on her face, earning a few snickers and chuckles from the crowd.

"Oh, I guess you haven't seen yourself in a mirror to see who's the real ugly here." This time, it's my turn to smirk as I watch Felicia's face crumple. Her mouth opened and closed like a fish, trying to form words to reply. I guess she was too shocked that I fought back.

"Come on, Gold. We still have the assembly to attend to." The sea of students made way for us as I flipped my hair when I walked passed Felicia. The last thing I hear was Felicia's shriek of frustration as I entered the auditorium.

"I guess I shouldn't worry too much now, huh?" Gold muttered as we made our way to the stage, where the rest of the student council were waiting. Our council only consists of four people. Me as the president, Evan as the vice president, Gold as the secretary and Kyran as the treasurer. Evan was a good friend of mine while Kyran was... Gold's unofficial boyfriend. Seriously, I was always wondering why they won't make their obvious feelings official.

"Funneh! Glad to see you're okay!" Evan walked to us, giving me a fistbump and Gold a charming smile. Instead of being charmed though, Gold rolled her eyes and skidded to Kyran who was busy fiddling with his handheld console.

"Do I look okay to you, Evan?" I jokingly asked, lifting both of my bandaged arms. Evan chuckled as an answer.

"Sheesh, no need to sass me. I heard you changed but let me get used to it first okay?" I laughed at him as we sat at the chairs by the side of the stage, the students started filing in.

"So, what's today's agenda?"

Evan sighed. "Clear up your name."

"Eh? Why?"

"Dad wanted me to clear up your name or something. He said he doesn't want such rumors to reflect badly at the school." Evan's dad was the school's chairman. I met him a couple of times and it's safe to say he's quite nice. I am aware why he wanted to clear those rumors though.

Our conversation was cut short by the school bell ringing, the late comers flooding in the room as the doors shut close. Evan stood up but I pulled him down, replying his confused gaze with a smile. I made my way to the podium, tapping the mic to catch the buzzing bees' attention.

"Good morning, to my fellow students. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Anyways, I just wanted to announce that our school festival is coming up and for those clubs who haven't sent in their application forms, please send it as soon as possible in the council room. Next--"

"Boo!" "No one cares!"

I sighed. These simple-minded idiots are hard to crack, huh? Once they believed in something, they won't believe any other truth. I was about to make them shut up when Evan made his way to the podium, grabbing the mic from the stand and faving the students with a blank face.

"Everyone, remain quiet please. We are all trained to be decent individuals, not wild beasts. So unless you wanted a week in detention, I suggest that you all shut your mouths." Immediately, the insults buzzing in the auditorium died down, replaced with a comfortable silence.

Evan coughed, continuing his speech. "Listen my fellow students, we are all aware of the rumor about our council president. About her bullying Miss Weisz, if I remember correctly? But is a single rumor enough for your image of the president to crumble to the ground?"

Evan looked sharply at the club presidents seated in the front row of the auditorium. "Drama Club President!"

The junior with glasses squeaked, standing up. "Y-yes?"

"Tell me, when you were one character short in your play last year who came to your rescue?"

"T-the president..."

"News Editor, who helped you when the people you're interviewing won't cooperate?"

"T-the president..."

Evan nodded. He then faced the silent crowd. "See! The president has helped the entire student body and I don't think you should let a single rumor ruin your trust to her."

"H-He's right!"

"Why am I believing those rumors?"

"President, we're sorry!"

Evan smiled at the ground before flashing the same smile at me, to which I returned as I mouthed thank you. I stared at the people cheering for me. For once these past weeks, I can feel my heart at ease. I feel like I can take on everything now.
