•Chapter 9•

Mack's POV

Jill finished doing my makeup which was just some pink lipgloss, gray and white sparkly eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara. Vanessa curled my hair loosely and did a fishtail braid in the front, clipping it to the back with bobby pins. Victoria chose my outfit which was a multi-colored tank top, jean shorts, white converse, a teal purse, a white and black phone case, a black bead necklace, and a black bracelet that said love on it in white sparkles.

They all ushered me into the bathroom to change. I quickly put on my outfit and stared at myself. I actually thought that I looked kind of pretty.

When I stepped out they all gasped.

"You look great!" Victoria said.

"BEAUTIFUL!" Jill added.

"You look so pretty!" Vanessa gushed. I smiled.

"Thanks guys." I said. They all high fived each other and we all hugged.

"Bt-dubs, Mikey got here like a minute ago and he's waiting downstairs." Victoria said. I nodded and walked downstairs. Mikey was sitting on the couch playing flappy bird on his phone.

"Still can't beat your high score." I teased making him look up at me.

"Nope. Still at 7." He sighed. I took his phone and played a game and died at 34.

"You are a cruel person." Mikey said. I smirked.

"Thanks Spikey." I said. "Now les go." We both walked outside and we started walking a random direction towards town.

"So what are we gonna do?" I asked.

"It's a surprise." He smirked. He knew how much I hated surprises.

"Gee thanks." I joked. He nudged my shoulder and I pushed him back.

"Fine fine. We're going to the arcade, and then dinner." He said. I eyed him suspiciously just to make sure he wasn't lying and sure enough, he wasn't.

"Yay! I haven't been to the arcade in years." I sighed. I remember the last time I went was before Mikey went off to America's Best Dance Crew and everyone went to spend time with each other before they left for 3 months.

~flashback~

"Hey Mack." Mikey said.

"Yeah."

"I have to tell you something." He confessed. I looked at him with the look 'what?'. "I'm gonna be going away for a few weeks for ABDC and I'm not really sure when we would come back..." He paused.

"Oh. Well when do you leave?" I asked.

"2 days." He sighed. My heart sunk.

"Don't worry. You'll do great and before you know it, 3 months will be over." I smiled.

"Well we are going to all hang out together." He stated. He texted everyone and told them that we were all going to do something today and we decided on the arcade.

The entire day was filled with fun, smiles, and happiness but I still couldn't forget that Mikey and all of the other boys would be leaving in two days. Just two days.

•day they leave•

"I'll be back before you know it." Mikey assured. I nodded and hugged him tightly. I hugged the rest if the boys before a voice came over the intercom saying that their flight was leaving. I hugged Mikey one more time.

"I'll miss you." I cried.

"I'll miss you too. We can text and FaceTime every day. I promise." He said. I nodded.

"Good luck." I whispered withdrawing my arms from his waist. He nodded back at me and left to the plane. He turned back at the last second and waved at me. I waved back and smiled holding all of my tears back. I watched as he turned back around and continued walking to the plane with Nick and out of my sight.

•day they come back•

I was waiting at the airport, anxious for all of them to come back. I had watched all of the ABDC episodes and voted for them countless amounts of times. When they didn't win, I was bummed out, but I ended up getting over it. Second place was good especially since they were all 10-15 in age. I saw the doors from the plane open and saw all of the boys walk out. Me, Victoria, and Jill all ran and we all had a group hug in the middle of the airport.

"Good job guys." I smiled. They all smiled back and we all hung out for the rest of the day.

~end of flashback~

We arrived at the arcade and I immediately remembered everything that happened here.

"I remember the last time I was here." I smiled thinking of the memory.

"Me too." Mikey smiled back. We played around the arcade for a few hours and decided to go to dinner.

We ended up going to Albivi's, courtesy of Vinny. After dinner, we decided on going on a walk on the beach.

The beach was only a few blocks away from the restaurant so we decided to walk there too.

"That food was THE BEST!" I said. Mikey nodded in agreement.

"And thanks to Vinny we were able to eat there and had a reservation since it was so crowded." Mikey added. I nodded and hugged the stuffed teddy bear that Mikey won me at the arcade tighter. When we got to the beach, the sun was setting and the sky was filled with beautiful colors. Pink, orange, yellow. It was so pretty.

"Let's take a picture." I suggested. I hugged my teddy bear and smiled widely while Mikey threw his arm over my shoulder and smiled. In the next picture I stuck out my tongue and did a peace sign while Mikey made a weird face with the stay fierce sign. For our final picture, Mikey kissed my forehead while I made a heart with my hands.

"Yay!" I smiled. "I'm posting all of these to twitter." I stated. When I finished, we continued walking on the beach. Our fingers were intertwined together and we swung our arms back and forth.

After an hour, he decided to walk me home. My house was about a 10 minute walk from where we were which wasn't that bad.

When we got to my house, he walked me up to my front door. He wrapped his arms around me and I grinned.

"Night Mack." He smiled.

"Night Mikey." I replied back. He kissed my temple, smiled, and then started walking to his house.

I opened my door and went up to my room. I took off all of my makeup and jewelry and put on some sweatpants and a random t-shirt. Finally, I brushed out my hair and left it down before climbing into bed.

"Hello Mack." A voice said. I screamed and a hand was put over my mouth. The next thing I know, I blacked out.
