•Chapter 13•

Mack's POV

I went to the bathroom and played the song Take Me To Church by Hozier cause that song is my jam. I went to my closet and picked out an outfit and brought it back to the bathroom deciding that I would shower later. I hummed along to the song as I changed out of my clothes and putting my old clothes into the hamper in the corner of the bathroom. When I finished putting on my outfit, I put on an infinity necklace that Mikey gave me for my 14th birthday and some silver bangles on my left wrist. I put on a new phone case that I got at the mall and decided to do a waterfall braid in my hair. It was 7:55 by the time I was done.

Jill was almost at my house so I went downstairs. "I'm going to a party at Madison's house mom." I yelled.

"Okay sweetie. Be home by midnight. No later and call me if you need anything." She smiled. I thanked her and ran outside just in time to see Jill pull up in her car with Victoria in the passenger seat.

"Hey girl." Victoria laughed.

"Hey. And where's Vanessa?" I asked.

"Vinny's picking her up. He just texted me." Jill answered. I nodded. I couldn't wait for this party. Hopefully nothing goes wrong.

When we got to the house, it was blasting music and there were a bunch of people and cars outside. We all got out of the car and walked up to the front door and walked right in.

"Hey guys!" Nick smiled. Me and Victoria hugged him and he hugged Jill last before kissing her on the cheek.

"Awww. You guys are so cute." Me and Victoria fangirled. They laughed an walked away. Victoria and I walked around and ended up outside. We were greeted by Madison and Mikey.

"Hey glad you guys could come." Madison smiled. I hugged him like I did with Nick and he slung his arm over Victoria's shoulders and kissing her forehead.

"You guys are cute too." I pouted.

"Hey we can be a cute couple." Mikey said. He wrapped his arm around my waist and kissed my temple.

"See. You guys are cuter than any other couple that Madison and I know." Victoria said. I hid my face in my hands and giggled.

We all went to go get something to eat at the barbeque grill. One of Nick's brothers was behind it flipping the burgers.

"You guys want some?" He asked. We all nodded and he gave all four of us a burger. I ate it quickly since I was so hungry.

"Wait. Why are Chrissy and her friends here?" I asked as I saw them walk past in short shorts and skirts and crop tops that were too small.

"I honestly don't know. I think one of the guys I invited invited them." Madison answered. We all went inside and into Madison's living room where a bunch of people were dancing to the loud music.

We sat down on one of the couches in the middle of Madison's living room while everyone else was dancing around us. I knew some of the people here but there were a lot of people that I didn't know.

"I'll go get you a drink." Mikey said and leaving to the kitchen.

"We're gonna dance." Victoria said and pulled Madison up to his feet. I took out my phone and looked at the time. 8:30. I waited for Mikey to come back. After 15 minutes I was getting anxious. Does it seriously take that long to get a drink.

"Nick have you seen Mikey?" I asked as I saw Nick walk past me.

"I think he went outside." He answered. I thanked him and walked out the back door. I looked around everywhere but I didn't see him, so I decided to go out to the front of the house. I turned the corner and stopped in my tracks. Tears started building up in my eyes.

Mikey and Chrissy were making out right in front of my eyes. The tears finally cascaded down my face. I walked right up to both of them and slapped Mikey in the face. Hard.

"I hate you. Don't talk to me ever again. And us? We are through." I stated and walked away wiping at my tears.

I felt someone grab my wrist and spun me around. Mikey. "Please let me explain." Mikey begged.

"No. How can you explain that? There isn't anything to explain. You were making out with her. Just leave me alone and don't ever talk to me again." I glared at him and tried walking away but his grip on my wrist became tighter.

"I know that's what you saw but it isn't what it looked like. She kissed me. Not the other way around." He explained.

"Well then why didn't you break away? Why did you keep making out with her? Explain that." I yelled. He bit his bottom lip.

"I knew it. Don't talk to me ever again. I hate you and we are over." I spat and walked away. I was going home now.
