Mack's POV

~day of move~

I took my luggages in my hands and walked downstairs. It was noon and we were about to leave for the airport. We called a taxi since we had our car shipped over to California ahead of time. When I got downstairs, my dad took my luggage and went to put it into the taxi.

Everyone was going to meet me at the airport. "You ready to go sweetie?" My mom asked. I nodded and fixed my beanie before walking out to the taxi and getting in. I watched all of the buildings pass by as we drove to the airport and rested my forehead against the window. I wished that I didn't have to leave.

When we got to the airport, my dad called someone to get our luggages and I carried my backpack myself. When we walked into the airport, my parents went to go deal with our luggages and I saw everyone gathered around in a group. I walked over to them.

"Hey guys.'' I managed to say.

"Hey Mack." Jill said. They tried to cheered me up as we all walked to where the gates were and it was almost time for me to get onto the plane.

"We have a surprise for you." Madison said. I was confused but all six boys huddled up as Victoria, Jill, Julian, Nick, and Tristan stood beside me. All of a sudden, I heard a song start to play and all of the boys got into position.

'Your love is my drug' by Ke$ha started playing and I watched as all of the boys danced to it the exact same way as they did on the first episode of ABDC. When it came to the part where it said 'if you don't love the situation, I'll make you love the situation' my eyes widened as I saw Mikey flash his abs. I watched them finish off the dance and I was crying and I ran and hugged all of them.

"Thank you guys so much." I cried as we all were in a group hug. Some people in the airport were watching us and some were videotaping.

"And we all have something for you." Louis said. He gave me a small pink teddy bear. I smiled and hugged him tightly, thanking him.

Jason came next and he gave me a shirt that said Nerd on it and nerd glasses and he had the same shirt and glasses. I hugged and thanked him as well.

Next, Thomas gave me a poster that had all of the Iconic Boyz on it with their autographs and notes on the back. I grinned and hugged him as well, saying thank you.

Vinny came up next and gave me a shirt that said 'I <3 Nutella' on it and a giraffe stuffed animal. I laughed and hugged him and thanked him as well.

Nick gave me a phone case that had a picture of us in it. I hugged him like everyone else and thanked him.

Madison came up after and gave me a superman snapback. I laughed and hugged him, thanking him.

Julian, Tristan, and Nick came up after and gave me two pairs of Vlados, blue and black, and white. I hugged and thanked all of them.

Next, Victoria and Jill came up and handed me a scrapbook. I flipped through the pages. They had a bunch of pictures of all of us from before and now. I cried and hugged them tightly and thanked them.

Last but not least. Mikey. I put everything that I had gotten onto the floor and ran up to him and into his arms.

"I missed you so much." I cried into his shoulder.

"I missed you too Mack." he replied back wiping away my tears. He pulled a box out of his pocket and took out a necklace with the letter M on it.

"For both of us. It's so you'll remember me." he said and put it on for me. I cried even more.

"Thank you." I breathed out. "I'm gonna miss you so much." I cried and hugged him.

"I'll text you everyday. Distance won't ruin our friendship. I promise you that." He said and released me from the hug. Before I could do anything, he leaned in and kissed me gently. I smiled and after a few seconds, we pulled away. He handed me an envelope.

"Don't read it until you get on the plane." He said. I nodded and hugged him again. I could hear a bunch of aw's from all around us and I laughed quietly.

"Flight 279 to California is now boarding." The intercom said. I felt the tears in my eyes build up again. I hugged everyone again and told them all that I loved them and to keep in contact with me. They made a promise that they would come visit me later on.

Before I knew it, I was on the plane in first class since my dad wanted me to have more space. I took out the letter from Mikey and opened it.

Dear Mack,

I'm hoping that you waited until you got onto the plane to read this because what I'm saying, well, I don't want to make it harder for you to leave. I love you Mack. That day at the party, she kissed me. I would never lie to you about that. And Chloe? Well she forced me to date her. Remember that accident when you got kidnapped? Well that was her.

If she didn't threaten to hurt you and if I didn't date her then I honestly don't know where we would be right now. Maybe in a happy relationship or maybe still friends.

The truth is that I love you more than you could ever know. You may not think it after me not talking to you for almost 10 months but I really do love you. Those days that I didn't talk to you, I felt lost. Without you I felt lost.

When I heard you were leaving, I knew that I had to do something special for you. So of course, I wrote you this letter and got you the necklace. The M stands for both of us and its a way for you to remember me.

I don't want to put so much into a letter to overwhelm you but I couldn't bring myself to tell you all of these things in person either.

Where we are now, I'm not sure. Best friends? I honestly want to be more than best friends with you but long distance relationships are hard to keep. I love you and maybe we can see each other in the future again and give us another try.

I wiped away all of the tears on my face and looked out the window at the blue sky and clouds. I was starting a new life but I knew that I wouldn't ever forget anyone here. They were my family. I wouldn't ever forget them.

A/N so thats the end YAY. If you want me to make a sequel to the book then comment and tell me. I'm going to start a new book but I'm not sure so DM me if you have any ideas.

If you guys want me to do a sequel while I'm writing my new book, then I might write it after I finish it or while I'm writing it.
