Raining Fire Chrollo X OC Nami

A chance to become a spider

   Nami has been living with the spiders for 7 years. Chrollo had made them the phantom troupe a few years back. Nami hadn't been allowed to officially join the team because they all agreed she was too young at the time.
   Her 18th birthday is right around the corner and all she wants is to be a part of the phantom troupe. And today she was going to ask Chrollo.
   Nami got up bright and early just as the sun was rising. She knew little to nobody would be up but she wanted time to herself. She opened the old dusty curtains to let the light in and made her small bed. Nami was just about to go downstairs to find Chrollo when her bedroom door swung open. Uvogin, Nobunaga, Feitan, and Machi burst into her room with a tiny cake.
   "Happy birthday Mimi!!!!!!" They all shouted at the top of their lungs. Uvogin was of course the loudest and probably woke everyone up that wasn't up already. The ground also shook beneath Nami's feet causing her to fall over. The young girl was still a little sleepy so she just sat up and rubbed her eyes. She let out a little laugh because her friends were all in pajamas as well and they looked pretty tired.
   Nami got up and ran to jump on Uvogin. Her small thin arms barley reached around his huge ones.
   "Good morning to you too Mimi" Uvogin laughed. He took a few steps back and almost backed into Nobunaga.
   "Hey watch it will you? You're gonna make me drop the cake!" He yelled to Uvogins back. The two just laughed at him.
   Feitan and Machi came up to give Nami a hug. As time went on Mimi outgrew Feitan's height but was still shorter than everyone else.
   "Aww thank you guys" Mimi said through a yawn. She sat on her bed and started to eat her cake.
   "Oh no we're all going downstairs. Let's go birthday girl!" Machi commanded as she pulled Mimi from her bed to the door.
   Machi was the first one out the door. Only to meet another cake being slammed in her face. Everyone gasped behind her and her jaw dropped. Phinks had been the one who threw the cake in Machi's face. Once he saw it wasn't his target his confident smirk turned into a look of fear. Machi wiped her face and looked right to Phinks.
   "Machi I'm so sorry! That wasn't meant for you. I swear that was meant for Nami!" He pleaded to a pissed Machi. She drew her Nem threads and Phinks knew he should start running. He turned and started dashing down the hall. He turned his head to call out to Nami.
   "Happy birthday Mimi! We love you!" Nami burst out laughing. She laughed so hard she fell onto her butt. As she opened her eyes she saw Uvogin, Nobunaga, and Feitan coming to her with cake in their hands.
   "Oh no you guys wouldn't!" Mimi mumbled. Their smiles grew even more. Thankfully Nami was little so she could dash under their legs. She made it to the door only to meet another piece of cake thrown by Shalnark. Her mouth dropped.
   "You did not!" She stated and grabbed the cake from Uvogin. Shalnark has already turned to run down the hall but Nami was right behind them. Mimi went to throw the cake at him but he moved just in time. Instead the cake came in contact with Pakunoda. Mimi stopped running and waited for the womans reaction. Pakunoda wiped her face and looked down at the girl.
   "Oh shit" Nami mumbled. As quick as she could she turned from Pakunoda and ran away. Nami ran down the stairs almost tripping on each of them. She made it down to the first floor of the abandoned building. She saw Chrollo and ran to him. Mimi flung her arms towards him and positioned herself behind the man. He gave her a look asking what she was doing. It took a minute for Nami to catch her breath but she finally got a sentence out.
   "Paku.... cake.... face..... me...." She wheezed out. Chrollo was still looking at her with a puzzled yet interested look. Nami remembered she still had cake all over her face. She took hold of Chrollo's jacket and used it to wipe her face off. His jaw dropped and she stepped back laughing. He laughed as well but shook his head. Nami knew she should start running. At this point she had over half the team chasing after her.
  She ran up the stairs to the roof dodging cake as she ran. Nami thought she was in the clear and took some time to catch her breath.
   All at once everyone came from all sides surrounding her and throwing cake at the teen. She shrieked and covered her face. Only to fall over laughing. Nami knew her family was tense most of the time but seeing them relax and have fun made her happy.
   Once everyone had calmed down they all went downstairs. All of them were covered in cake. Hisoka, Franklin, Bonolenov, and Shizuki all stared at their teammates with ammused but confused faces. Nami just pointed to Paku who pointed to Phinks who pointed to Machi who just shook her head. Everyone else gave their birthday wishes to Nami along with their presents.
   Hisoka has given her scarves that would hide objects, Feitan gave his sister two daggers, and Machi gave Nami a leather corset top. Chrollo wanted to give the girl his gift last. So after everyone else had gone he stood up. The rest of the spiders looked at him waiting to see what he got her. Nami looked up and saw Chrollo standing right over her. Her face grew red but she looked at him with curious eyes. Chrollo knelt down to her and pulled a small box from his cake covered jacket. Nami's shaky hands took the box. She didn't know why her hands were shaking or why she was almost nervous for what the bosses present was.
   The box was black and small but tied with a green bow. Nami's favorite color. She shook the box like a little child and Chrollo's hand shots up to grab her wrist.
   "Hey hey hey Nami just open it." he told her. Nami let out a little laughing and undid the box. She loved messing with Chrollo every chance that she could. As she took the top off the box her eyes met a shiny golden object.
   'It looks like the color of Hisoka's eyes" Nami thought and snuck a quick glance at the jester whose eyes were on the box.
   As Nami took a closer look she saw the golden object was a necklace. It wasn't too big but not too small. It was tied onto a silver thin chain. Nami picked it up and felt and instant connection with the object and her eyes turned to a golden color.
   Chrollo looked at the girl anxiously waiting to see her reaction. All he wanted to do today was make her happy. She looked up meaning his gaze with a huge smile on her face.
   "Do you- do you like it?" He asked her nervously making her smile grow even more.
   "I love it lolo!" Nami yelled using his childhood nickname. Nami would call Chrollo lolo when she couldn't say his full name. His ears turned a little pink but he quickly regained his composure. Nami jumped up and hugged him so tight she felt his shoulder pop.
   "Thank you thank you thank you!" she said over and over again into his shoulder. Chrollo's arms were around her small waist and he savored every second of it. But his surprise was not done yet. After Nami had on the necklace he called her name.  Nami looked at him again.
   " I have something else for you." He told her. Once again Nami's eyes lit up. Chrollo took a deep breath.
   " I want to give you the chance to become a spider"
