A new life Chapter 2

Melody's P.O.V

I could see Jac looking at me weirdly so I just ignored it.I saw his stare turn towards his wife when he leaned down and whispered something in Mary's ear and she nodded then left.I could hear footsteps go down the hallway then fade to nothing.As I was thinking Jac cleared his throat,it seemed like he was trying to get my attention so I turned and looked him in the eye.

Jac's P.O.V

I got her attention so I took this to my advantage.I asked,"Do you know where you are from or where your parents are?" She stared at me then replied after some silence,"I only remember my name so I don't know where I am from or who my parents are." I didn't know she was an orphan so I was about to take her in when Mary came back with the potion.

Mary's P.O.V

I came back with the potion of healing hoping that I didn't interrupt anything.Jac said,"Good you got the potion," then turned towards the girl I mean Melody with a straight face.He took the potion from my hand gently and walked over to her.Her eye's widened when he started to approach her.

Melody's P.O.V

I saw Jac coming towards me with what looked like a potion of healing then he stopped next to me and said,"Here drink this is will make you feel better." I nodded and took the potion and drank it then instantly I started to feel better.He walked back over to Mary,nodded at her,then faced me and said,"If it is alright with you,since you don't have a family we would like you to become a part of our family." I looked at him,he smiled so I got up and ran to them and hugged them both and accepted to become their daughter.I was 4 years old then and that was the best decision i made.

(Still Melody's P.O.V)

I woke up to the sun shining in my face.Today was the first day I started school and I was excited.Mom and dad didn't know if I was human or mob so they found a school that had both types.I ran downstairs to see mom cooking food.I hugged her and ran to get my awesome sword.(It is a nether sword Jac made it for her.) I grabbed it,put it on my back,and ran back to the kitchen where breakfast was ready.Dad kept going on about how I'm not supposed to hurt other kids or get in trouble so i just sat and ate and nodded.The bus came,I kissed mom and dad goodbye,and was ready to start off my first day.When I got on the bus kid's starred at me for having sunglasses on (They hide her white eyes.) so I make my way to the very back of the bus.I only have my sword,sunglasses,and backpack full of stuff.I looked out the window thinking to my self that this will be a very long day.
