It was late evening, and all the pups were playing in the lookout yard. The pups had just finished eating dinner and were enjoying some playtime with various toys before it was time for bed.

"Hey Chase wait up." Rex says as he chases Chase.

"Hehe, come on Rex! You can go faster than that, I know you can." Chase called back as he ran around the yard.

"Well it would help if all four of my legs were working properly." Rex said jokingly as he caught up with Chase.

"Those wheels can't slow you down. I've seen you in action, you're actually a pretty quick pup." Chase said in encouragement.

"But thats with my pup pack." Rex says.

"Maybe. But that's why you keep practicing it, so you can get even faster and more mobile. Just think, soon you'll move so quickly that you'll serve as an inspiration to all pups who are handicapped like you." Chase smiled as he put a paw on Rex's shoulder.

"I know. It's just hard to do. But thank you Chase. I really appreciate your support." Rex says.

"Of course buddy. I'll always be here to support you. When I first met you and saw you in action, I saw something special in you and knew you belonged on this team and in this family. You're really something special Rex, and I believe you're destined for great things." Chase said as he looked into the wheeled-pup's eyes and gave him a hug.

"Thank you so much." Rex says, starting to form tears in his eyes.

"Aww, there there little buddy. You're very welcome." Chase said sweetly as he gently wiped the tears from Rex's eyes and hugged him.

"Thank you." Rex says as he hugs Chase back.

"Hey pups, its time for bed." Ryder says through there pup tags.

"Aw, well, looks like we gotta head in now. Come on Rex Race you." Chase said as dashes for the lookout door.

"Hey no fair!" Rex says laughing as he runs after him.

The two pups ran towards the lookout where the other pups were heading. Rex followed Chase into the lookout with a smile.

When they got to the lookout Rex asked a question he hadn't thought of yet. "Where will I be sleeping?"

"Well it's funny you ask that Rex, because I was thinking: how would you like to stay with me until Ryder gets your room ready?" Chase asked with a kind smile.

Rex took a second before speaking. "Um...ok." He says uneasy.

"Unless you don't want to. And that would be fine. Would you rather sleep somewhere else?" Chase asked quickly, worried he may have overstepped his bounds.

"Oh no. Your room will be fine." Rex says re ensuring his friend that it was fine.

"Only if you're absolutely sure bud. I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable." Chase said.

"No. It's fine. Really. I wouldn't lie to you" Rex says reassuringly.

"Alright, well then let's go." Chase said as he led the way to his room.

"Ok. Let me grab my bags quickly." Rex says as he runs over to where his bags were set.

Chase waited patiently for his wheeled brother to come.

"Ok. Lead the way Mr. Officer." Rex says with a giggle as he returns to Chase with his bags.

"Hehe, right this way then little cadet." Chase giggled back as he led the way to his room.
