Chapter Three - Good Morning Boys (Part 1)

Chase made his way down the halls towards Lincoln and Rusty's room. Once there, he gave a small tap and gently opened the door.

"Rise and shine boys, you awake yet?" Chase asks as he walks in.

There was no response cause the both of them were still sleeping Chase smiled warmly at this and went over and gave both of them a gentle rub.

"Wakey wakey little cuties." He said.

"What?" Lincoln asks softly as he rolls over.

"Morning buddy. It's time to get up." Chase said with a warm smile.

"Really?" Lincoln asks, rubbing his eyes.

"Yep. The sun's shining, the birds are singing, and it's time to start a new day." Chase said, rubbing his head.

"What are the birds singing?" Lincoln asks.

"It's just an expression bud." Chase chuckled, booping his nose gently.

"Oh. ok." Lincoln says as he yawns.

"Did you sleep well bud?" Chase asked him.

"Yeah." Lincoln says as he stretches.

"Glad to hear it. And what about your bed, did you stay dry last night?" Chase asked.

"I'm a big boy, so of course it is." Lincoln says confidently.

"Well let's take a look then." Chase said as he gently pulled back the covers on Lincoln's bed.

Lincoln waited to see what Chase would say. Chase inspected the pee pad on Lincoln's bed and found that it was dry.

"Well look at that big boy, you are dry this morning!" Chase said with a smile.

"See. I told you." Lincoln says with a smirk. "Can I wake Rusty?" Lincoln asked.

"Hmm...how bout you get up and go potty first, then you can help me wake him up." Chase said.

"Awe but I'm a big boy. I can hold it." Lincoln says.

"Hmm...alright, you can now. But you know the rule. If you have an accident, you get put in pull ups for the rest of the day." Chase said seriously.

"Fine. But i'm a big boy. So i know i'm not going to have to wear pull ups." Lincoln says as he climbs down the stairs that lead to his bed.

Chase chuckled. "We'll see about that. Now be nice and gentle when waking Rusty up."

"Don't worry. I will be." Lincoln re-insurers Chase. "Rusty. Hey buddy. It's time to wake up sleepy head." Lincoln says as he gently shakes Rusty.

Rusty stirred and rubbed his eyes open some. "Mmff...w-wha?" He squeaked softly

"Its time to wake up silly. The sun is already shining." Lincoln says as he smiles.

Rusty yawned and stretched a little. "Mmff...is it morning time?" He asked.

"Yeah. And Ryder made something that smells really good." Lincoln says as he sniffs the air.

"Yep, he made French toast for you boys." Chase said with a smile.

"Really?' The both of them asked excitedly.

"Yep, so let's get up and go so you can enjoy some breakfast. First we need to check your diaper Rusty. Would you like to do that Lincoln?" Chase asked him.

"Yeah." Lincoln says energetically.

Chase chuckled at his enthusiasm. "Alright, lift back on one of the leakguards and check inside. And be gentle."
