"This is what you've gotten yourself into when we've only left you for 20 minutes?!?! 20!!" Lero screamed as he dragged a barely conscious man to the pile.

Kael pouted as he stroked Rune's fur, still crouching beside the beast.
"You came back faster than I thought......." He muttered.

"So you thought you wouldn't get found out?!?" Arca screeched as the married couple cleaned up the street.

Kael pouted even more as he leaned against Rune, now buried in the wolf's fluffy fur.

"Sometimes, I wonder which one of us is actually older, master." Euan sighed.

Euan is a mage, who specializes in puppetry. He can control anything, ranging from dead leaves to actual people. He controls them like a puppet, but he does not control people often, and instead uses puppets that he made himself.

Kael met Euan when he was travelling through the West. Euan was a thief. He would steal from people in crowded places by making small wooden dolls, attaching strings, then pickpocketing random passerby's.

The place Euan grew up in, was sweltering hot all year round. It was in the middle of the dessert, and food, water, and jobs were only given to the privileged, or well off.

His parents died due to starvation, and dehydration, because they were giving Euan all that they had. They were a homeless family. They lived in alleyways, or tucked into a small corner. His parents did try getting accepted into jobs, but they were kicked out immediately. Eventually, their bodies shut down.

Euan was left alone, and at a young age, he survived the only way he knew how at this environment, where people with money and power are the only ones able to have a life. He stole food from random shops, he went to densely populated locations in the city and pick pocketed people who looked well off.

He always had an interest in dolls and puppets. He would carve parts of a small doll from a decent sized tree branch, then put all the parts together by the joints, and attach string to its limbs to make it move.

He attempted to pickpocket Kael one day, but Kael with his nonhuman traits, immediately spotted the small thief. Kael cornered him, and offered the child food, water, money, a home. Euan reluctantly agreed at first, just because of the fear that this person will hand him over to the authorities for stealing. He later realised it was the best decision he made.

Kael led both of them to an inn located near the center of the city. Small Euan marveled at the posh building. He later met Ian, Lero and Arca in the room.

Kael found out about Euan's interest in puppetry, as well as how well the child could control the dolls or puppets. Kael showed him how to control the puppets without the use of strings or without actually touching the puppet, which the child freaked out about the first time he saw it.

Euan eventually learned the art of puppetry magic and followed Kael wherever he went.

Kael describes Euan as clingy, before and even now. Even more clingy than Ian, and that's saying a lot.

Euan, along with the rest of the disciples,  were perched on top of the building behind Kael, sitting on the roof as their legs dangled off the edge.

Kael hummed as he buried his face in fur. His disciples wore frowns as they watched the scene, meanwhile, Rune gave them a smug grin.
(BTW I actually meant this rhyme and I'm proud of it. Lol)

"Did you get the ingredients?" Kael asked as he groggily lifted himself off of Rune.

The disciples sighed at the same time, muttering yes' or humming and nodding their heads.
