A heavy sigh echoed across the empty throne room, the source, a dark shadow who sat on the throne in the middle of the room.
"Seriously, that madman....... Suicidal bitch......" The shadow flinched as it tried to move. Its arm detached itself from the body, rolling across the floor before coming to a stop. The shadow's eyes following the limb.
It got up and walked towards the limb, picking it up and attaching it back onto its body.
It attached back with a pop. He rolled his shoulder and smirked.
"Although.. It is to be expected.......he is MY bitch after all...."Kael paused in his actions, looking up towards the sky as he smiled.
"Master?...." Arca questioned.
"Its nothing. Its just that, a storm may be coming soon." Kael hummed as he walked back to the castle, a smile on his face, but, his eyes weren't smiling at all.
The disciples tilted their heads, their master was being odd today.
The rest of the day was spent peacefully. Strolling through the gardens, having snacks as they chatted, as well as small spars. It was peaceful, but, as they say, 'the calm before the storm'.
Kael sat on top of the balcony's ledge, his legs dangling off as he kicked them back and forth.
"Master." Ian slowly wrapped his arms around Kael's waist, pulling him to his chest.
"Hmmmmm?" Kael hummed, still kicking his legs as he looked towards the moon.
"Its a full moon..... Holo might be having trouble....." Ian snuggled closer.
"Its alright. I just put him to sleep, he'll be fine." Kael smiled as he pat his disciples head. "I do have to check up on him regularly though. He might suddenly wake up."
Ian hummed, his chin resting on Kael's shoulder as the two stared out into the distance. The twinkling stars and bright full moon illuminating the surroundings as lights from the buildings in town made everything seem brighter.
"Oho, what do we have here? Ian getting ahead of himself again." Nys sneered as he walked toward the two.
"Hah?!" Ian let go of his master as he faced the newcomer with a sneer of his own.
"You heard me." Nys smirked, a belittling glint in his eyes.
"Ah, is that so? Then instead of stating the obvious, get ahead of me then." Ian gave out a sarcastic gasp, "Oh wait! You had all that time, but never even tried." Ian smirked as Nys' smirk fell. "Pussy."
"Fuck you! Oh wait! No one will!!" Nys glared as he stepped forward.
Ian stepping forward as well with a glare of his own.
Sparks flew between the two as they stood their ground and glared at each other, silent threats passing between them.
Kael chuckled as he turned around and laid a hand on each of their heads, ruffling their hair as he pouted. "No fighting!" He scolded.
The two reluctantly distanced their selves from each other, but occasionally sent glares when their master wasn't looking.
Kael laughed at the poor attempt of hiding their glares.
He motioned for the both of them to move closer with a wave of his hand. The two moving closer without a second thought.
Kael brought up his hands, swiping his disciples bangs upward as he leaned forward, bringing a kiss to each of their foreheads as he smiled.
Ian blinked as he registered what happened, Nys in the same state as he blushed.
"Oh my! How cute!" Kael giggled patting down their unruly hair.
"Now then! Its time for bed!" Kael clapped as he attempted at a serious expression.
"We're not children anymore, master." Ian said, seriousness laced his voice, making Kael slightly pause.
"That's right, master! Stop treating us like children!" Nys stepped forward, caging Kael between the railing and himself.
Kael blinked as he looked up at his disciple, who moved to the side a bit as Ian took the space.
"That's right. We're men already." The two said at the same time, a hidden meaning in that sentence as they caged their master between them.
Kael slowly opened his mouth as he his his trembling hands behind his back.
Ian and Nys awaiting an answer as they stared at their master who had an unreadable expression. Wondering for a moment if their words broke through.
"That's right! That's right!" Kael beamed as he hugged the two. "You're already so grown up!!" Kael sobbed. "My children are no more!!"
Ian sighed as Nys groaned, face palming at their master as Ian pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Now then! Off to bed!!" Kael released them and pointed toward the hall leading to their rooms. His emotions doing a 180 as he ordered them like a parent.
"Yes......." The two begrudgingly answered as they walked off.
"Good night!!" Kael waved, a warm smile tugged at his lips.
"Good night."
As the two slowly started to disappear from the Master's sight, Kael's smile slowly vanished. His lips forming into a thin line as his waving hand stopped in its tracks, falling down to his side.
"I'm sorry........" He whispered.
"I'm sorry........... I can't....." His voice wavered as he leaned back against the rail. His teary eyes staring up at the full moon as he breathed deeply.
"I'm sorry.....my dear disciples...... For acting oblivious......for acting dense............" Kael slid down on his knees, a hand gripping the rail as his other covered his mouth.
"I'm sorry.......for not being able to answer your feelings.........." His voice cracked as a hiccup rose in his throat.
"I'm sorry........"

I couldn't update anything cause we were gonna transfer into another broadband WiFi thingamagig..?... I honestly don't know...
So I didn't have WiFi for ever!
And now I realize I can't live with out internet.....But anyway....I guess having no WiFi gave me time to actually get started on character designs.
And I actually drew them! Yes!!
And well, I have Nys and Holo to finish so...I also have to introduce the last disciple....
So next chapter is introduction to them and a character profile as well.Life without internet hurts.......
BTW, who do you want Kael to end up with?
I've got a pairing ready for him, but I'm still not so sure. Or should I just go poly? Lol
