Evie
Evie awoke to banging on her front door and Kim's voice yelling at her to open up. Evie was still dressed in her sleeping shirt and shorts before she checked the time, she didn't have to be a work for another couple of hours so why in the world was Kim banging on her door at this ungodly time in the morning. As she whipped the door open she was met with a blubbering Kim who had invited herself in.
Evie watched as Kim paced back and forth in front of her before, her mouth going a mile a minute as thousands of words spilt from her lips. At Kim's incessant talking Evie lifted her hands for silence, "Kim! What is going on?" She asked.
Kim grabbed her wrist, "We need to go now,"
"Go? Where?" Evie asked.
"The clubhouse,"
"Skull's clubhouse? For what Kim? You're not making sense!"
"It's Skull, he's hurt,"
Evie's eyes widened, Skull was hurt— her instincts suddenly kicking in telling her to leave to help him but then her brows furrowed, "What does this have to do with me?" She asked.
"You told me once that you did a nursing course and.."
"In high school Kim! For one semester!" Evie yelled.
Kim just shook her head, "No listen we need you,"
"Why hasn't anyone taken him to the hospital?" Evie asked.
"He refuses to go— God you've met Skull, he's so stubborn,"
Evie ran her hand stressfully through her hair, "Isn't there anyone from the club that could help him?"
"Believe it or not, they're all unavailable— please Evie just for a few hours until Red gets back,"
Evie groaned, "Fine... just let me change,"
Evie ran to her room, grabbed a sweater and jeans before racing back down to meet Kim who was waiting by the door as the two women raced out.
"Do you know what happened?" Evie asked as Kim drove.
The other woman shook her head, "Cash didn't go into detail,"
"Is it bad?" Evie asked as she nervously twiddled with her thumbs.
Kim gritted her teeth, "I have no idea,"
When Kim pulled up at the clubhouse, Evie had no time to look around as Kim led her towards the main building which Evie would have thought impressive had it been under different circumstances.
"Skull?" Kim asked one of the bikers who was in the main living area as they entered the room.
"Clinic,"
Kim nodded as she grabbed Evie's hand and dragged her towards what looked to be the infirmary. Inside, Cash and Killer stood towards the center of the room and on the bed was a beaten and bloody Skull whom it pained Evie to look at. His lip was bleeding and his left cheek was bruised, from what Evie could see there were cuts on his arms and forehead as well as blood seeping through his shirt.
