Evie
Evie sighed giddily as she turned her attention back the cash register. Her moments with Skull on repeat in her head for more than a few days now and while it had been more than a week since their encounter at her house Evie couldn't help but daydream over the rugged man. She hummed appreciably as her mind wondered over his facial structure, his strong jaw, high cheekbones, perfect lips, broad nose with that sexy nose ring and his gorgeous pool of brown eyes assessing her as she ....
"Evie?"
She shook her head out of her reverie before getting a knowing look from Kim's green eyes, "Daydreaming again?"
Evie scoffed, "What do you take me for? A teenager?"
Kim let out a full blown laugh, "Of course not,"
Evie narrowed her eyes at the sarcasm that dropped from her lips, "I don't understand why you don't just text him," Kim said blatantly.
Evie frowned, "It's his turn, I did invite him for lunch already,"
"Uhuh under false pretenses of a broken down car," Kim hummed.
"Shh don't say that so loud!"
Kim chuckled.
"— besides unfortunately if he was interested he would have texted by now," Evie said sadly, "so I guess he isn'—"
"He's here," Kim suddenly hushed whispered.
At her statement Evie's attention flashed towards the door just as Skull walked in with Cash in tow.
"Well?" Kim said, making Evie look at her confused, "Lets go!"
Evie followed Kim over to the pair before planting a kiss to her husband's cheek, "Hey baby," she grinned, "Hey Skull!"
Skull nodded his gaze shifted from Kim to Evie who was now standing beside her.
"Eves!" Cash squealed pulling her into a hug.
"Hi Cash," Evie giggled, "Hi Skull,"
"Hey," Skull answered.
Skull looked good today, Evie noticed. He was dressed in a black t-shirt and jeans that fit his legs nicely giving a round shape to his ass, Evie would have fainted from lack of oxygen if Kim hadn't nudged her knocking her out of her stupor, "Regular table?" She asked.
Both men nodded and headed that way, quickly Evie grabbed a few menus before handing it to them, "No Killer and Red today?" She asked.
"Eager to see Killer?" Cash teased.
Evie gulped meeting Skull's gaze which had hardened, "I was just curious,"
Cash laughed it off, "I'm only teasing Eves,"
"—but to answer your question, nah they ate already,"
Evie nodded, "Well can I get you guys any drinks?"
Evie took their orders quickly before making her way back to give them to the cooks before her path was suddenly blocked by Mariam who was scowling, "Why'd you take that table?" She demanded.
Evie's eyes widened a fraction, "—because...."
"Do you have a thing for Skull or something?" Mariam asked.
"I...."
Mariam scoffed, "Pfft— listen you maybe some hot shot back where you came from but here in Oakley you're nothing special, just another bitch like the rest of us! — and Skull if he even bothers to give you the time of day will chew you up and spit you out,"
