Stella was freezing by the time Tony showed up. He had put the roof up on his car, and had the heat turned on. Thank God. Stella got in and tried to warm her hands once she was buckled in.
"So the date didn't go well," Tony concluded as he drove away.
"You don't really do your research on these guys do you?"
"I do. His parents are very good partners of mine."
"Well, he isn't very fond of you," Stella remarked.
"Hm. Last time I talked to him, he was very interested in the company."
"When was last time?"
Tony considered it, "Maybe a year ago."
Stella rolled her eyes, "You don't seem to be too upset about it," Tony commented.
"I had a very nice conversation with him. It made me feel good."
"I thought you said it didn't go well."
"Oh, it didn't. He's a vulgar little prick, but what I said to him was priceless."
"What did you say?"
"You'll probably see it on the news tomorrow," Stella dismissed.
Tony couldn't help but smile. He picked up speed and raced home. Sometimes even he wondered how him and Stella weren't blood related. Especially with how much of a trouble-maker she was. Stella was surprised to see Tony up bright and early the next morning. He sat on the couch watching TV with an entertained smile on his face.
"What are you watching?" Stella asked as she climbed down the stairs.
"You," Tony responded as he pointed to the TV.
On the screen was a recording of her chewing out Blake, "Someone really recorded that?"
"Yeah, and the media got a hold of it," Tony added.
Stella scoffed, "But it was worth it. I'm proud of you," Tony stated.
"For chewing out a guy in public?"
"For standing up for your cause. You're really good with your words."
"Thanks?"
Tony cracked a smile, "And I love your sass. You put him in his place."
Stella rolled her eyes as she went to get breakfast, "Why don't we go celebrate?" Tony asked.
"Celebrate for that?" Stella asked, pointing at the TV.
"Yeah. Why not? We both need something fun."
Stella rolled her eyes, "No, I will not water ski, hang glide, or go on a helicopter ride with you."
Tony made a pouty face, "Not even a helicopter ride?"
"No. Well, maybe. Depending on what you have in mind. But what are we going to do? Go skiing?"
"That's a good idea."
Stella glared at him,"No."
"Fine. What do you want to do then?"
Stella thought about it, "Well, I haven't been to the Rockefeller Center yet..."
"No."
"Oh, come on, Tony. I heard It's beautiful this time of year."
"Nope. No way. Not happening."
"Tonyy," Stella begged.
"Nooo," Tony drowned out her voice with his and covered his ears.
