Destroyed

When I wake up my head feels dizzy and my room is different.well I think its my room. I'm not in my bed, then where am I? I see ballons and I have needles going in my body. Everything hurts. I see max and Brittney with my grandparents outside the room.

A nurse comes toward me and asks me "what's your name?"

"My name is ..uhmm t..Tessa" I tell the nurse.

"Where am I, what happened?"I ask scared.

"Honey your in the hospital, you don't remember what happened?"

"No i don't, where are my parents?" I search the room for them even though its quite small.

"You got into a car crash honey you should get some rest,oh and they are some people here to visit you but after you nap." She tells me, so I do what she says.

My eyes start to get heavy and I drift of to sleep.

When i wake up max and Brittney are at the side of my bed.

"Hey how you feeling" max askes me concerned.

"Never felt better" I say still in pain.

I see my grandparents outside my door with the doctors? Are they crying? I can't tell.

My head feels heavy.

"I'll call the nurse and tell her your awake" Brittney says. I can tell she wants to give is some time alone.

"Do you remember anything" he asked me

"I remember my party and the necklace you gave me"I tell him

"What do you mean your party and you seen the necklace?"he tells me confused.

" yeah my sweet sixteen party and the necklace you gave me as my present"does he not remember?

"You never had a sweet sixteen party and I didn't give you a necklace yet, today's your birthday"he informs me

"No no you did its right here!" I scream confused. I put my hand on my neck. What the hell? Its not there!.

"I was planning to give you this for your birthday after you came back from your grandparents." He tells me while he opens a box. The same box from last time. The necklace is  gold and says forever mine.

"I had a hell of a day, nothing can be worse." I try to put a small laugh instead it comes out to be a cry. So he takes the necklace and he puts it on my neck.

"Thank you" I tell him

"Anything for my Tess"he smiles

"Do you mind if we talk to Tessa" my grandfather says.

"Of course" max says as he exits the room.

"Tess I have some news"he says

He looks scared and tried and he's about to cry. He has eye bags. How long has he and grandma been waiting?

"What news" I ask curiously.

"Your..your father died in the accident."he says in almost a whisper tone.

No.no. my father he can't be dead.I start to sob I haven't even realized. Tears and tears. My heart feels so heavy. It hurts and I'm starting to get dizzy everything is getting blurry. How? Why? After hours of crying I fall to sleep.

When I wake up  Brittney only there. Omg I forgot about her.

"I must look like a mess"I say

"Its passable"she says as I try to pass a giggle.

"This is for you the nurse said it was pain killers"she hands me pills and a cup of water. I swallow it and it starts to take effect in ten minutes.

"feel better?"she asks

"Yeah" I tell her.

"You get to go home tomorrow"she tells me smiling.

"How long have I've been here?" I ask

"about 3 days" she replys

A nurse enters and gives me my food."eat up" the nurse tells me.

"Excuse me where's my mother?" I asked scared of the answer.

"They haven't told you, your mother is in coma"the nurse tells me softly.

OMG why? Why me? Why couldn't I die there? I start to cry but Brittney starts to comfort me. That's why I love her. She knows when to be serious and when to joke. We have been best friends since forever.

Tears and tears.

But I soon stop and try to get up.

"No no don't get up you need your rest" the nurse tells me.

"No! I'm going to my mother" and I do as I say I get up struggling and get into a wheelchair. Brittney comes to me.

"You can't stop me"I tell brittney.

"I know" she states then she takes the wheel chair and pushes me to my mother's room.

There she is. She looks so pale and peaceful. But I want her I want her back. I don't have father. I need her. I'll become a orphan. Omg i haven't thought about that. No no mom plz wake up I shake her.

"I tried that already" brittney tells me.

So I just lay my head there and sob. Brittney doesn't come this time. She knows I need this.

After a while I go back to my bed and sleep. This day. This very long day or what seemed to be.
