Chapter 23 - Runaway

AJ POV

I just keep on driving until I get to a secret beach. I parked the car in the carpark. I walked to the office and got my surf board out of the rack. I changed into my togs and put my valuables in my locker but before I could my phone pinged. I open my lock screen and see texts from Maddie, Ash, Ali and Maya. I open Maddie's first

M - Bro where are you, everyone is so worried, I saw your speed off. Please say you aren't driving this upset.

A - Mads I'm fine, I be back whenever

M - Ok good and Maya wants you to reply to Ash and Ali

A - K.

I exit out of Maddie's one and open Maya's

M - Please come home, and please answer Ali and Ash's text. Ali is beside herself.

A - Fine and later i will be back I suppose.

I exit out and open Ash's first

Ash: Baby Kriegs please come home, I didn't mean to upset you, I'm just looking out for Ali.

A: Ashy its ok. You didn't. I might be home eventually

I go to open Ali's and she has written a paragraph

Ali: Baby please come home. I need to know you safe and I need to explain something. I would rather do it in person and not over text. I love Lasky. Please come home.!!!!! xxx

A: I'm still mad

I turn off my phone and go out for a surf. I catch lots of waves. After I return back to the locker. I realize I had been surfing for 2 hours.

*2 hours ago*

Ash POV

She answered all of our texts but now she has stopped replying. Ali is crying like crazy and I don't know how to help so I need to find AJ. She has been MIA for 2 hours now. I sign knowing that the only person who might know where she is, is Brooklyn. I go ring David.

Ash: Hey David

D: Hey Ash what's up?

A: AJ and ALi had a massive fight and now AJ has been MIA for 2 hours and she has stopped replying to our texts and even her BFF cant even get a reply and Ali is beside herself.

D: Omg, Ill give you to Brooklyn

B: Um hi?

A: Brooklyn its Ashlyn Harris, Have you seen or heard from AJ in the last 2 hours

B: No why?

A: She has been MIA

B: OMG, hang on Ill try and text her. I really like her and i don't want a bad thing to happen to her.

A: I know Brooklyn

B: I know that she might be bad but Ben has been contacting her lately maybe he has her or knows. I texted her. She has seen it.

AJ POV

I am sitting in my car and I receive a text from Brooklyn:

B - Laska where are you, everyone is worried, I'm worried. Please come home and we can sort this out. Please say your not with Ben at the moment. xx

I reply to him because i don't want him to be mad at me:

A: Brooke I'm fine honestly, I'm mad and upset. I needed space. I know I scared you. I am not returning. I'm so sorry.

I press send and immediately regret sending that to him, he is going to hate me.

He starts barding me with texts.
