There was a brief sound. She didn't know what it was. Then it clicked. A twig snapping.
"Is it over?" She said calmly before opening her eyes. He smiled over at her, green eyes glowing in the moonlight.
"Yeah. Now come on. Everyone is waiting." She pushed herself up from the forest floor taking his hand. He paused to look at her. "We're free now. We can do anything." She smiled following him into the darkness.
