All week has been nothing but meetings and auditions for Aly. 4-5 auditions every other day for different shows and movies, the rest meeting after meeting. Demi of course couldn't be come this week from being in the studio recording finishing up her album. So it's been just Aly and I all week. So far no calls yet from the auditions but Aly is determined that she will land a few. Scooter has been a big help going with us this week. Without having Demi here I have no clue what I'm doing so I'm glad to at least have someone to guide us through this.
I feel like I haven't seen my girlfriend in long ass time. She's working, I'm working through the meeting, and while Aly's in her auditions working on my laptop. It sucks and I miss her.
We are on our way home finally. It's nearly 7pm. Demi shot me a text before we finished our last meeting asking when we'd be home. I gave her an estimate time not knowing exactly when the meeting would be over.
As Scooter drives us home I shoot Demi a text to see if I needed to pick up dinner on the way home but I got no answer. Hmm.. Odd. So I call her.
My Love🔥😘: Hey beautiful!
She huffs like she just ran a marathon.
"Hey baby." I giggle. "What are you doing?"
My Love🔥😘:
"Nothing just uh... cleaning up a bit. Neither of us have been home to do it."
"Alright... um. Do I need to pick up dinner? Aly looks like she's about to starve to death." I say looking back at my baby girl who keeps making weird faces at Scooter through the rearview.
My Love🔥😘:
"Oh no baby! That's okay I actually have something on its way here for us." She said.
"Oh alright. Just wanted to check with you. We're almost home. See you in a bit beautiful." I say.
My Love🔥😘:
"See y'all soon baby"
End call
We get to the house and see the lights are off. It's like a blackout. But I see both neighbors lights are on. What the hell is going on?
"Thanks Scooter for all your help this week. Could you do me a favor?" I ask him. "Sure Y/n, anything."
"Could you stay here until I give you the "okay" something feels off Demi said she was home but all the lights are off."
"I don't think I'll need too." He smiles. "But once you both get in the house I'll head out."
Somethings up. I can feel it.
I make my way to help Aly out of her car seat. The moment her shoes hit the pavement she bolted to the door with me trailing not far behind her. "Momma! We're home!" Aly yells opening the door. "Wow!" She says making me furrow my eyebrows wondering what she could be "wowing" about. I enter the dark house or should I say light with little firefly light all over the living room and fort blocking the flat screen tv.

Wow indeed... It was beautiful! I am in such a daze that I don't realize Demi in front of me.
"Baby? Are you okay?" My girlfriend asks me making me snap out of it. "Y-yeah. What is all this?"
"Well, I know the three of us haven't been able to see much of each other this week and trust me I know it's been hell. Even though I still see y'all at night but Aly is always about to go to bed and I know you are exhausted, I haven't really got to spend time with y'all. I miss you both some much. So I got off early to come home and build all of this." She said turning to let me look at the beautiful lights and blankets pilling over the furniture. "And I know y'all don't have anymore auditions and meeting to go to so I took a few days off so I can be with my two favorite girls in the world." She smiled grabbing my hand to kiss it.
"Oh Dems... We miss you too." I pull her into me by her waist with one hand and her face with the other as our lips touch. God I miss her. It felt like we haven't really had any physical contact besides cuddling when we sleep. This woman is so good to me and my daughter. I couldn't ask for a better partner.
Finally we part lips smiling wide at each other when Aly steps in. "Mommy and Momma sittin' in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G!"
Demi giggles "Come on let's go in the fort and talk about your day. By the way, we got pizza and drinks I'm there so be careful and try not to make a mess. We've got movies to pick and watch!"

We barely made it they the first movie and Aly was passed out. Demi and I continue watching with Aly laying in between us. Well Demi watching while I just stare at her beautiful face for what felt like forever.
"Baby?" She said still watching the movie. I hummed continuing my gaze on her. "You know the movie is on the tv and not my side view." She said turning to meet her chocolate brown eyes to my y/e/c.
"I can't help how amazed I am by you. You're so thoughtful and loving. It's only been a week that we barely seen each other. It's not like you were on tour." I say softly trying not to wake Aly.
"It felt like I was. I hate not seeing you both, I hate that I couldn't go with y'all at all this week to auditions and meetings, I hate that I had to be away from y'all and coming home late and only being able to tuck Aly in and only being able to tell her goodnight, I hated every minute of it but I'm glad I get to take a few days off to be with y'all and catch up from missing so much this week." She said rubbing Aly's back.
"Baby... I know it sucks. We aren't too fond of it either but you know what makes all of that worth it?" I smile softly. "What?"
"Even though we didn't get to spend much time with you this week, we are so grateful to have had the moments we did with you through out the week." I move a little closer to place a soft kiss on her lips. "We love you, baby."
"And I love y'all." She said placing a kiss on my lips once more.
