There she stood, frozen, she couldn't move as for the man was making her about the millionth portrait.

Her parents were very proud of her success as model, people purchased about 80 paintings of her each and every day.

She was considered gorgeous in her town, the most beautiful maiden of Brightmoon one would say.

Of course Adora wouldn't couldn't and probably shouldn't believe that.

So there she stood, in a long white dress, her shoulder and left leg exposed from the white almost transparent fabric.

She held onto a sword and looked into the distance all her blue eyes could do was stare at the birds chirp and fly away.

Her niece played soft violin and her twin brother stared at her, his eyes hinted with boredom and Adora understood this since she was bored herself.

"J'ai terminé." The artist stated and turned the canvas around to see yet another painting of the blonde. ("I finished")

"Je vous remercie," Adora replied as the artist collected his materials. ("thank you,")

She stretched a bit and approached her sibling "you done?" He asked the other blonde with a raised eyebrow "yes Adam, you dont need to wait anymore." Adora replied raising a hand to gesture to her niece to stop playing.

"Thanks the stars, my hand is dying." She complained shaking her hand and fixing her shirt.

"I only came here because father told me to keep an eye on you, i heard there was thieves in this town and i guess he thought that you could be in danger, so here i am, Adam Grayskull, protecting my sister from harm." He said raising his blade which Adora slowly lowered.

"I can handle thieves, father just thinks women dont know how to defend themselves, which they can." The other blonde mentioned gesturing to her sword.

"Dont blame me, im just forced to do this, either way i would still protect my twin." He said sliding his arm around her shoulder and rubbing it softly.

"Thats ridiculous Adam, im twenty-four years old not four." Adora said a bit fustrated "that doesn't mean that you cant have more protection, better safe than sorry." Adam replied walking down the long hallway with Adora right by his side.

"This place is paradise, im astonished by these decorations." Adora mentioned feeling the silk that hung from the ceiling as decoration.

And she was right, the scenery was marvelous indeed.

"Did you hear about my classmate Leo? He recently got married." Adam mentioned "oh i remember him, he was very annoying." Adora said glaring at nothing in particular.

"He sure was, im suprised he even managed to get himself a lady, people call her a freak but im sure thats not true....?" He said more like a question tapping his chin.

Adora shuddered, she hated Leo with all of her guts since they met in her older years of school, he used to tease her most of the time.

"I'd be thrilled to meet this woman, i want to know how she can survive with a burden like Leo."

"Maybe she can't," Adam shrugged "but she should be talented." He mentioned grinning.
