chapter four: blonde..

Blonde...

Blue..

Bright  blue eyes.. piercing into my soul.

Catra shot up, she found herself in a small room, her attire was completely different, much more... loose and comfortable.

She looked at her hands, they were not covered blood anymore, instead  they were completely clean.

She eyed the blade beside her, still stained with red, she smiled and then panicked.

She felt her belly in hopes that the baby was still alive and well, then suddenly the door slowly opened revealing..

Blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin, Catra couldn't  say a word, she was gorgeous.

"A-are you ok?" She asked approaching the brunette slowly "i-..."

The smaller female couldn't  gather her words, she was scattered, confused.

"Is my baby ok?" She asked quickly   gesturing to her belly again "o-oh! You're  expecting! I-i dont think i harmed you on the way here!" Adora said trying to recall if she dropped the woman or not.

"W-where am i?" The brunette questioned slowly standing up "oh i dont know that either, i was running away and i found this place and then i went to do the lady who lives here a favor- and then i found you and then i rushed you here because you know i wouldn't  leave a lady like you to like die out here so i took you here and i dont know if you want to stay or you know your way out of here and i just want to know why you were covered in blood since you didn't have any wounds and it kinda freaked me out-"

The brunette silenced by holding  onto her shoulders tightly "i-i killed my husband... or.. ex- h-husband." She stated, Adora stood in shock "w-what?? If you dont m-mind me asking.. w-why???" She asked eyeing the blade full with the red substance she now recognized  as the brunette's  ex's blood.

"Oh he was h-horrible, i took my chance and stabbed him a few times in the chest." Catra spoke, tears covered her vison but she refused to let herself cry because of it, "i-im sorry to hear that... well we both seem lost in this place so im going to introduce myself-! My name is Adora Grayskull, nice to meet you." She said grabbing onto the brunette's  hand and shaking it slowly, the shorter female's eyes widened.

"Oh my stars...! Are you lying?"

"I-i dont see the point in lying-"

"Im a fan." Catra smiled.

"Wow- ok!" Adora sheepishly  smiled "i'm Catra Weaver." She shook her hand.

"I met your brother Adam about a day ago, im glad you aren't  dead." Catra said with a sigh of relief.

"How did you meet him? Is he ok?" Adora asked leaning towards the smaller female.

"He was ok, then i kinda scratched him, and then the building collapsed, im not sure what happened next." Catra shrugged "he seemed to know  my husband, so im assuming you know Leo as well." She said.

"You killed Leo?! Thank the stars! He was a demon!" Adora yelled and laughed "tell me about it." Catra rolled her eyes with another laugh.

"Adam and i were planning a pony thing, knowing Leo would probably be pissed." Adora shrugged "Adam brought the pony and almost died, you should thank me that i was there  to save him." Catra smirked, Adora gave her a hug, Catra blushed at the gesture  but hugged back, "thank you" she mumbled.

"My pleasure." Catra smiled.

They shared a laugh, both unconsciously blushing as they made contact, even the single brush of hands would cause electricity to bolt through their bodies, it was enjoyable and neither felt that  way about anybody else before.

Madam Razz  peeked through the door and smiled, she seeked this would happen and thats why she sent Adora to gather water by that particular ruin, of course there wasn't  any water there, Razz just wanted them together at last.

And they finally were.

United.

"Since when are you pregnant?" Adora asked "well.. about a month ago." Catra said looking down, Adora looked down as well "may i..?" She asked gesturing to the belly, Catra blushed  and nodded as the blonde slowly lowered herself and touched the brunette's stomach, they both blushed profusely as Adora left a little peck.

"Leo was never caring, he barely wanted the child but he was the father,, i-i guess i couldn't  control  myself when i saw him with another woman, and took that as an advantage to finally got rid of him, and i dont regret it." The brunette said, tears once more tickling her eyes, "i feel like i would do the same,, but maybe just not murder." Adora replied giving her a look of reassurance and squeezing her shoulder  softly.

Catra laughed weakly "i dont think i want to go back, i have no idea if they discovered i killed him, and if so I'll  probably  be sent to beast island." She said leaning back.

"I heard you could only go to beast island if you killed about fifteen people or more.." Adora said tapping her chin "he was really rich, i doubt I'll  be put in any regular dungeon.." Catra  replied with a shrug.

"Well im not sure if people are scouting for you here,, i doubt they are even looking." Adora replied standing up.

"You never know, maybe they think i died when the place collapsed, though they wouldnt find any clues for it."

"I thought  exactly the same!,, i actually like being alone here in the woods, but its always nice to have a bit of company.," Adora said eyeing Catra with a tiny blush on her cheeks.

"I think i would enjoy the woods more, and now that i have someone to talk to.." Catra said "i feel like we can try to understand each other, our intentions are different but we believe in the same things." Adora said placing her hand on Catra's, making the brunette blush once more.

"Y-yeah-"

"Oh you're awake dearie! I have some food for you!" Madam Razz said a bit too loudly, she put down some bread with strawberry jelly, orange juice, and a banana on a wooden plate.

Catra smiled "thank you so much for taking me in,," she said taking the plate  and cup before chugging down  the orange juice, she didn't  notice her throat was so dry until that moment.

Though she ate a bit less roughly, she hoped she wouldn't  vomit so frequently now that she probably had limited food.

"Dont worry about it dear! As long as you and your child  are healthy I'll  be happy." Razz replied with a smile, Catra smiled warmly for once, she felt accepted once in her life, and it felt outstanding.

"Its evening already so we should get prepared to go to bed,, what do you say Catra?" Adora asked smiling towards the brunette.

"I just  woke up but i think i can sleep again.." Catra thought out loud, Razz and Adora chuckled.

A/n: sooOoooOoo i was wondering when this book takes place! I've  been investigating through  fashion trends,, so if anybody has any ideas then pls tell me lol..

Also i might get confused with clothing pieces,, i know the basics only kfmwnfkw
