"Roseanne"

Her eyes widened in shock, contorting to a look of disgust as she looked at him, cringing.
"I'll get another waitress for you, don't worry," Roseanne said, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms, she walked away and behind the counter, desperately trying to find someone that was free.
"Chaeng? What's wrong?" someone asked from behind, startling her. Roseanne placed her hands on top of her chest and breathed out deeply,

"Chewy?" she asked in disbelief, the girl smiled and nodded, her arms wide open, Roseanne returned the smile and jumped into her open arms, gripping her tightly.
"You're back!" she squealed, jumping up and down in excitement. The girl smiled at her and held her hand tightly.
"Chaeng," she said quite stonily, confusing Roseanne.

The girl looked her in the eyes and frowned deeply, making Roseanne return it.
"Someone's bought this building and all the workers are being moved somewhere else," she explained, now looking down and allowing her black hair to fall in front of her eyes. Roseanne stared at her, defeated.
"What?! But, Tzuyu! I have no money to get another house- and-" Roseanne babbled, being cut off by a finger on her lips.

"I know, but it's far away and the city's apartments are expensive." Tzuyu started, "Just hear me out, okay?" she added on quickly, seeing the distressed look on her friend's face.
"Since my brother has an apartment there, I'll come with you and we can share it.". Roseanne spaced out at the thought, being cut out of it by Tzuyu snapping her fingers in front of her face, causing her to smile broadly.

"You'd do that for me?" Roseanne asked, her eyebrows furrowing. Tzuyu smiled back and nodded, holding both of Roseanne's hands in hers.
"He's still paying rent but he handed it to me, so don't worry, he won't be there," Tzuyu said, hugging her and letting go. They looked into each other's eyes and genuinely smiled.
"Where and when is it?" Rose asked, Tzuyu dug her hands into her purse and pulled out her phone, scrolling on it, her eyes lighting up as she spotted something.

"Seoul, tomorrow at nine am," she said, Roseanne's eyes widened as she began to panic.
"Tomorrow?! But we don't have enough time to pack!" she exclaimed, ruffling her hair and putting her head in her hands. Tzuyu frowned and lifted her chin, staring into her eyes.
"Hey, hey. Don't worry, I'll help you," she reassured, cupping Rose's cheeks and pinching them. Rose's cheeks flushed as she looked down in embarrassment.

"Come on, all of the worker's shifts ended today so they could get ready, get changed and let's go," Tzuyu said, now dragging Rose into the locker room and shoving her inside, sighing then smiling to herself as she leaned on the wall next to the door.
"I'm such a good friend," Tzuyu said, lighting up at the self-praise. Rose soon came out of the room, dressed in a grey hoodie which was tucked into black jeans and a pair of trainers.

Tzuyu smiled at her and grabbed her hand, pulling her out of the building, smiling.
"Wait -" Tzuyu said suddenly, halting in her steps and making Roseanne trip over, catching her in time.
"Where's Lily? You know, your child?" she asked, Rose's eyes expanded and she grabbed Tzuyu's hand, running at full speed.

"Jesus Christmas..." Tzuyu panted, holding her hands on her knees and taking sharp breaths.
Roseanne smiled as she came out of the building, holding her child's hand and swinging it back and forth. Tzuyu squealed and ran up to the child, squishing her cheeks and pulling her into a bone-crushing hug. The child squeaked in surprise and ran back to Rose, hugging her leg. Rose smiled, patting her back and crouching to her level, kissing her on the cheek.

"Luckily I told you about her, otherwise-"
"Don't even finish that sentence," Roseanne warned, glaring at her and turning to Lily, smiling broadly. Tzuyu watched it unfold and was left in a trance of confusion.
