Roseanne sighed, looking down at the paper in front of her which laid on a desk. She rubbed her temples and closed her eyes, pressing her lips in a thin line. 'You should do it, you know. You can get away from him and everything, earn some more money and give Lily a better life.' Tzuyu said to Rose, not looking up from her phone, on the other side of the table. Roseanne looked at her, furrowing her eyebrows, 'It isn't that easy, besides, I don't even know how it's like in there, for all you know, it could be utter garbage.' she replied, looking back down at the paper after a while and softly banging her head on the table. Tzuyu snickered at this, catching Roseanne's attention, 'Rosie, stop being so worried, I've looked up the place online, it's amazing. Just sign it or god help us all.' Tzuyu 'reassured' her, placing her hand on top of her friend's.

Roseanne huffed and nodded, picking up a pen that Tzuyu had thrown at her a few minutes before, and scanning her eyes over the paper, her eyes wide. 'It says here that I get at least $6000 a month...' she whispered in disbelief. Tzuyu grinned, 'Told you.'. Roseanne stood up after signing it and putting it in an envelope, walking outside and grabbing a jacket. 'I'm going to go give this to him, don't wait for me.' she called out, slinging her jacket over her shoulders and running outside quickly, avoiding eye contact with Tzuyu as much as she could.

Roseanne flicked her cheek harshly, making her wince and frown, scanning her surroundings. She had never had much money since she had gotten disowned and broken up with since she had gotten pregnant at fifteen, but that was a story for another time. Roseanne had not seen many fancy things, due to her disadvantage, meaning her child and her incomplete highschool diploma, since she had to drop out, obviously, because of her accidental pregnancy. She sighed and sucked in a deep breath, counting to ten in her head to desperately calm down her nerves which were building up rapidly in her head, 'Roseanne Park, I'm assuming.' a woman with half-moon spectacles and unflattering, brown, fakely curled hair, asked her, looking up at Roseanne from her computer screen. Roseanne gulped in nervousness and nodded, the woman frowned and shook her head, 'I seriously doubted you'd give in to the new job, Miss Park.' she sternly said, silently judging the clothes Roseanne had worn, which she had noticed quite quickly and rolled her eyes. The woman grit her teeth as she had picked up on the small rolling of her eyes and held out her right hand, impatiently, 'The letter?' she asked through gritted teeth, raising a thick eyebrow. Roseanne scoffed and took the envelope out of her coat pocket, sliding it through the bottom bit of the desk and through the glass. The woman stood up and went to the back for a while before arriving a few minutes later with rubber gloves on her hand, which Roseanne had went red-faced at, in anger, to be specific. The woman smirked and grabbed the letter, harshly putting it into one of the drawers and slamming it shut.

'I'll inform your boss about this, Miss Park, that you have accepted the offer. You're leaving tomorrow at nine in the morning, we have already paid for your airline tickets and a complimentary hotel, if you would like, for some reasons you probably have been too familiar with.' the woman slowly drawled, her amusement growing larger at the enraged and offended look on the younger woman's face. Roseanne glared at her, 'So, have you made your mind up for the hotel, I'm assuming your financial problems won't be enough to stay in one, so we'll also cover that.' she carried on, only angering Roseanne more as she clenched her fists in agitation. The woman smirked and waved her off, 'Have a nice day, Park. Although that would be quite rare for you since you're basically living in a dumpster.'

Roseanne's cheeks flared an angry red as she flicked the woman off and swished her hair dramatically, leaving the room and out of the door, her body shivering at the cold, blistering air that hit her. A faint ring, followed by a buzz, had came from her pocket, startling her as she dug the source of the sound out, pressing the green telephone button and holding the object to her ear, clenching her jaw painfully. 'Who's this?' Roseanne asked, tapping her foot and trying to keep herself warm, which was, not to mention, miserably failing. 'Is this Roseanne Park?' a womanly voice asked from the other line, making Roseanne furrow her eyebrows. 'Yes it is, is something wrong?' she nervously asked. 'Please do not panic, miss. I would like to ask you to meet at the city's hospital, I am in need to tell you something that had happened quite recently.' the woman continued, a slight hint of pity laced in her voice, which Roseanne could only guess was bad.

'I'll be there in a few minutes, is it that urgent?' Roseanne huffed, rolling her eyes. The woman on the other line sighed, 'If you'd like, I can tell you from over the phone, it might be better.' she sweetly said, Roseanne hummed in response and sighed which had contorted into a yawn. 'Ma'am, your friend, I assume, Chou Tzuyu? Well-

She has recently passed away, I'm sorry for your loss.'
