"That's what, a three story drop to the deck" pope asks as he looks up at John B who was balancing on the roof of a house that was being built for some snobby kook "I give you about a one in three chance of survival"
"Oh come on Pope it's gotta be at least a little more than that right. Don't be so harsh" Kirra laughs
The grip around Kirra's waist is tightened and she is pulled closer into the chest behind her
"Hmm" John b hums and then licks his finger and sticks it up in the air to test which way the wind was coming from as if it would differ his chances of falling
"Should I do it" John b finally asks
"Yeah you should jump" JJ says from behind Kirra and keeps a serious look on his face. The two of them were sitting on a small pile of scaffolding that was laid out on the floor next to the building
"I'll shout you on the way down" Pope says and aims the electric drill that was in his hand towards John b
"You'll shoot me" John b challenges teasingly as he looks down at his friend
"Yep" Pope replies
"They're gonna have Japanese toilers with towel warmers" they hear and turn to face Kiera, the other girl of the group that was a lot like Kirra and it wasn't hard to see why the two of them were best friends, they were both meant to be kooks but they chose the pogues over the kooks. They both love animals and the planet and they were both complete badasses but were also softies at heart but of course there was their differences
"That really isn't surprising" Kirra smirks over at her friend
"Of course they are. Why wouldn't they" John b says as if it were the most obvious thing in the entire universe
"This used to be a turtle habitat but who cares about the turtles I guess" kie states and walks out on the balcony and looks around at the beach and then up to John b who was still ontop of the roof
"Can you please not kill yourself" kie asks
"Just leave him kie, he's being an idiot" Kirra laughs but is also concerned for her friend who was a five year old stuck in a seventeen year olds body
Jj looked up at John b "don't spill that beer. I'm not giving you another one" and Kirra laughed and leant back into the boy and he began to place soft kisses on her neck and shoulder
John B slips a little bit and let's put a yelp and the can of beer falls out of his hand and smashes into the floor below him "oh shit"
"Of course you did" Jj laughs
"Nice going Einstein" Kirra sighs
"Smooth" kie replies and looks away from the boys
"What a complete dumbass" Kirra mumbles
The shuffling of rocks and the low rumble of a motor can be heard from next to them but jj was to busy placing light kisses on Kirra's shoulder to notice
"Hey ah security is here" Pope laughs nervously "let's wrap it up"
"Boys are early today" John b states
"All right Humpty Dumpty lets roll" jj says and then pulls Kirra up with him as he stands and then takes her hand in his "lets get out of here princess"
"Let's go boys" Kirra and Keira both say
"Hey Gary is that you" John b calls out to the police officer over the railings
"Hey Gary it's really good to see you again man, I missed you big guy" Kirra laughs as she waves sweetly over at the police officer and then they all start running to get out, racing each other
They all laughed and cheered as they ran through the house looking for a way out.
"Hey stop" Gary yells
He about to grab Kirra but jj quickly pulls her out of the way and the police grabs him instead but he's easily able to pull himself out of the officers grip and then tug on his girls hand and pull her through a door way
"Not much of a hugger man" jj laughs to the officer, and it was true except for when it was Kirra. He'd do anything to have her arms around him, it was rare to ever see the two not showing some kind of psyical attention to each other whether it was them holding hands, his arm wrapped around her shoulders or waist, hugs, you name it. But neither of them could go very long without the others touch. They knew it was unhealthy, everyone who knew them new it was unhealthy but they didn't care. They both loved each other more than anything and would do anything to make sure that the other person was okay and jj wouldn't let anyone mess with his girl.
"They're going out front" Gary yells out to the other officer that had come down with him
"Go Pope. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go. Go" jj laughed loudly and kept a tight grip on his girlfriends hand but then ushered her to run infront of him and he lets go so they can get over the fence
Pope jumps over but lands face first and Jj laughs and then goes to grab his girl by the waist and lifts her over "lets go shorty"
She was only 5,2 whereas he was 5,11 and all of the others were also a lot taller than her, she hated it but she was used to it by now
She landed softly on her feet and then helped Pope her up and jj jumped over the fence and grabbed her hand again and they all began running
"Come on Pope. Fatso is coming" jj laughs, referring to Gary
"Hey" Gary yells as he reaches the fence and begins to jump over it "come here you little pricks"
"Bus is leaving" John b yells
"Dammit they beat us" Kirra pouts
"Come on guys let go" kie yells out to them all mockingly
And jj, Kirra and Pope all jump into the car and shut the door and John b speeds up the van
Gary yells out after them and begins chasing the van
"Check our Gary he's running for a raise" Pope says and pulls the door back open
"Come on Gary you're almost there" Kirra yells out to him
Jj continues to annoy and laugh at the cop
"Hey come on guys you're gonna give him a heart attack" kie states and looks out the front of the van
"You're so close. You can do it. There you go" jj laughs and then throws a beer toward the cop and to their surprise he caught it
"There ya go Gary" Kirra cheers for him
"They don't pay you enough bro" jj laughs
"Jj. Stop. Stop" kie says, finally having enough of there behaviour towards the cop
"Come on kie, were just having a bit of fun" Kirra laughs
"Oh come on. That sort of initiative is just begging to be punished" jj laughs and they continue to drive off away from the cop who eventually gave up running
"See ya next time Gary" Kirra called putting to him as they drove off
