The day had descended into a hellish spiral. A traumatising, hellish, blood soaked, spiral. Y/n had anticipated that something bad was going to happen when she heard the name Overhaul. The name of the man who wielded the same quirk. She hadn't put a finger as to why the name sent alarm bells ringing through her head at first, but the minute she saw him in that red plague mask made her e/c eyes grow wide.

Y/n, who was leaning against the wall, pushed herself up instinctively standing in front of Tomura. Her gaze darkened looking at the brunette that stood a few feet from her. His gold hues reflected her own e/c shining ones, "You brought a crazy big fish Twice..." Tomura's gravelly voice remarked. Y/n tugged the fur jacket Toga and Magne had gotten her closer to her, the soft strands briefly brushing against her face.

"You think so? Isn't that strange coming from you, the leader of the league of villains," He shifted slightly, staring into Tomura's red eyes behind father.

Magne leaned on her magnet, raising a suspicious brow,"What about him? Is this guy famous or something?"

"Master once told me about him, he's what you would classify as Yakuza... the head of the Shie Hassaikai," Y/n spoke up, venom lacing her words. She grinded her black boot clad foot against the floor of the old warehouse.

"To what do we owe the pleasure?" The brunette stood there gold eyes gazing at each member looking in disgust. His eyes met with Y/n who frowned.

Magne smiled, blushing, "How exciting~! I never met anyone like him before, he smells so dangerous!" She exclaimed. Toga just rolled her eyes, bringing her knees up to her chest and turned to her big sis, Y/n to ask a question.

"What's so special about him, VOID? We're all criminals here so what makes him so special?"

Her eyes didn't leave the man as she answered her question, "How 'bout a little story to answer that question of yours. You see, before the heroes existed and quirks developed there were gangs that ran the underworld. The yakuza. But when becoming a hero became a legal profession, the majority of them were caught. And when All Might came to power, their era was over. They're the lowest of the low, barely scraping by and working under larger villains. However, small pockets of the Yakuza still exist, making them an endangered species... "

"An 'endangered species' huh? Well, I can't deny that that's the truth," He rolled his shoulders back, craning his neck. The purple feathers of his olive green jacket brushed against his ear.

Magne retorted, "Yeah, what's a Yakuza thug from the slums doing here? Lemme guess, are you excited about All Might's retirement too?" Y/n quickly looked back at Tomura only to see his unreadable expression. Face half hidden by the hand of a dead man.

"Yes I suppose, All Might retiring is fine and all... but I'm much more interested in the absence of All for One," Something struck through Y/n and Tomura both of them already on edge were ready to pounce at him at any second, "The dark emperor himself was defeated, the leader of the shadows. The older generations feared him, even after rumors of his supposed death and the newer generations, like myself, always thought he was an urban legend. Imagine the surprise of seeing him stepping out into the light, breathing and alive... Alas, in the end he was defeated, thrown into Tartarus and the symbol of peace retired. Which means those of us in the light and darkness are left leader less... So who will step up to become the next big bad guy?"
