Previously: Nezuko pulled Tanjiro's sword from its covering and gave it a few swings to get the gist of it. When she examined the blade though, it was not black but rather a vibrant violet.
Coming to the conclusion that is was a demon who could manipulate surfaces, Zenitsu drew his sword and observed the motion of the landscape.Everyone seemed confused as the demon looked up and laughed sadistically, "My name is Tatemu and I am among the most powerful demons that reign next to the Twelve Kizuki or rather, Demon Moons!"
"Second Form: Rice Spirit!" Five straight attacks, coated in blazes of yellow and tints of red, were produced with one slight motion as Zenitsu maneuvered to strike at the demon before them. He let out a low hiss and dove away into the shadows in order to try and ambush from a blind spot.
Zenitsu detected the slight movements and footsteps with his enhanced hearing, shouting, "Sixth Form: Rumble and Flash!"
A series of strong attacks encased Zenitsu as each flew in random directions. Multiple trees came crashing down as Shinobu shot immediately into sight. Zenitsu noticed her face of retortment as he just shrugged in a way that said, 'He attacked first.'
Knowing the pillar was going to give him a long as* lecture later on about engaging in battles, Zenitsu made swift work of putting distance between him and the fallen trees.
"What's the situation?"
"Blood demon art has something to do with the ground," simply replied Zenitsu.
Meanwhile, Tomioka was halfway out of the hole; a loud crash could be heard from above moments before. Shinobu's devilish glint in her eyes had disappeared from sight as she turned her head and dashed off. Now that she was gone, this was Giyuu's chance to try baby steps in order to crawl out of the torture pit he was trapped in. If anyone were to see the 'grand' water pillar in this state, his pride would definitely take a big stake to the head.
Especially his heart if Shinobu caught him like this. He managed to stab his sword midway up the ditch where it caught between the rubble that slightly feel apart at the point. Taking his chances, he leaned his weight (what was still left of it =P) and jumped onto his sword that was jutting out of the dirt and rocks.
From there, he swiftly pulled his sword out from underneath him and used the momentum he built in his feet to propel himself out of the hole and into the moonlight. Giyuu ran in the direction where he noticed the insect pillar's head direct full attention to and was meet by a sharp surface to the throat immediately as he caught sight of purple shaded hair.
"Giyuu!"
On the other hand, Obani, Tanjiro, Kanao, and Nezuko were covering their ears from the shrill noise the demons before them were making as they cackled eerily.
"What a sad thing to see such young kids be put to the will of death."
Kanao slowly unsheathed her sword as it was hidden behind her white cape that was pinned by a row of pink saffron flowers. She quickly narrowed her eyes and noticed that the demon made of brawn was going to be the biggest challenge in getting to Tatemu. (So, fast note, the name Tatemu can be broken into Tate and Mu, both being names meant for a boy or girl. Tate means cheerful and comes from English origin while Mu can be interpreted in Japanese as nothing; non-existence; the illusionary nature of reality. So in terms, the name can translate to: Cheerfulness is the illusionary nature of reality. In terms of his demon art, it does work and come together.)
