Thank y'all for bearing with me. I've been having to deal with Science Fair, friend drama, and I just got back from a camping trip a few hours ago. I'm posting this off of my phone so expect a few weird things. I love all of y'all!!! xoxo

There was a tense silence as we made our way to the station. I leaned against Salem's shoulder and closed my eyes in an attempt to stop a headache.
"You okay Lucy?"
"My head hurts that's all."
"I have some Advil," the officer said quietly.
"I'd appreciate a couple."
"Here you go darlin'."
"Thank you Officer..."
"Broussard and you're welcome."'
I took the pills dry and swallowed back the bitter aftertaste. A few minutes later we reached the station. It looked more like a country cottage than my interragation hell. As we walked inside, the homey feeling I had disappeared. The cold air took my breath away. Salem noticed and held me in a protective embrace.
"It doesn't have to mean anything," he murmured lowly.
"I think I want it to mean something."
He smiled and kissed my cheek. I made him smile, I thought happily. Our sudden stop broke my train of thought.
"Ms. Laurents and Mr. Salem, Dectective Baptiste is waiting for you."
I walked in, our hands intertwined like Spanish moss, when I saw the man of my nightmares.
"Lucy it's so nice to see you again."
Suddenly, I was in the dark, cold cell I'm forced to call my mind.
