Chapter 10

After the show, the Beatles and kids were partying at the opening night party.

That is, Sam wasn't very well partying. Although she was glad that the Beatles problem was solved, she still missed her brother.

Leo noticed and said "Are you okay?"

"I guess" was all Sam said.

"I can't help with your brother but I can make you feel better" said Leo.

As Sam turned her face to look at Leo, Leo smashed his lips on hers.

Sam was surprised at first then eventually gave in and shut her eyes.

Leo pulled away and said "I love you, Sam"

"I love you too, Leo" was Sam's immediate answer.

Sam was then called to see her friends.

"Sam, we saw you kiss Leo. You know it's illegal because of the age difference, right?" said Calvin.

"Yeah, I do, Cal. Hugs and kisses, sure. But that's as far as I go." Sam assured him.

"Honestly, I don't blame you for kissing the guy back. Only because he kinda looks like Ferris Bueller. It's uncanny" said Charles Wallace.

"Think they're related?" said Calvin. "I doubt it. Leo is a grown man and Ferris is only a few years older than us" said Charles Wallace.

"Guys, it doesn't matter. Leo is a really sweet man. I'm helping him deal with his wife while he's helping me deal with Peter. So go easy on him" Sam said.

"Yeah, Calvin!" said Charles Wallace glaring at Calvin.

"Okay okay! I'll go easy on him. But only because he looks like Ferris!" said Calvin.

Tinker Bell then flew in front of Sam and gestured for her to come with her.

Sam exited the theater and saw a figure flying in front of her. She moved a little closer and there was her brother. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"Is it really you?" Sam said through tears. 

"Sam" Peter said opening his arms for her.

Sam broke out bawling and threw herself into Peter's arms.

"I thought I'd lost you" she sobbed.

"Aw, you could never lose me. I'm irreplaceable" said Peter.

"Peter... what about Captain Hook? How did you escape?" 

"It was actually really simple. Ropes are super easy to cut with my dagger."

"Of course! I bet Hook was pretty boggled" Sam said.

"He was. 'Cause nobody messes with your brother" said Peter hugging Sam one more time.

"Daddy? DADDY!!!!!" Briar sobbed flying towards Peter. 

"Briar! I missed you, baby girl!" said Peter hugging his daughter.

"How'd you escape?" said Briar. "You know me" Peter said.

The other kids then saw that Peter was alive and hugged him tight. 

Leo saw the whole thing. He was glad that Sam had her brother again, but he wished that Ulla could come back like that. But she was actually dead.

"Leo" a voice said. 

Leo looked up and saw the ghost of a blonde woman in a blue dress.

"Ulla! It's you!" he sobbed.

"Yes, my sweet cupcake. You have done the next right thing. And made new friends. Ulla very proud" Ulla said in her Swedish accent.

"That's Ulla? She's beautiful" Sam said.

"This your friend, Leo?" said Ulla. "Yes. Ulla this is Sam Pan and her brother Peter. They were the first friends I had since you passed. And those are their friends" said Leo.

"Hi, Ulla! I'm Charles Wallace, Sam's best buddy. He's Calvin" said Charles Wallace.

"How do you do?" said Calvin maturely.

Ulla was especially happy to meet the Beatles.

Ulla then turned back to Leo and said "Leo. You have done more than you thought. You will continue to do so from now on. And I will always be watching over you" 

"I'll try, Ulla. I promise" Leo cried.

After Ulla left, John said "We gotta get back home"

Leo looked at Sam as if he didn't want her to leave.

"Don't worry, Leo. I'll come visit you" Sam said.

Leo kissed Sam one more time then let her go back to Liverpool with the Beatles.

"Leo. You saw Ulla again. And Peter's alive. You and Sam got your happiness back" said Max.

"Yes, Max. But I think I got my happiness from Sam. She kissed me back and promised to visit us." said Leo.

Sam and her friends did come to Broadway often after all this and the Beatles performed there often.

Oh, I love a happy ending!

Leo and Sam may not have been TOGETHER but they still fell in love.
