Chapter 3

"You can't act a bl series you know how it all ends." Cindy complained, perplexed by the news brought up by her boyfriend.

"You know how I have always wanted to try acting. You can't limit me because it's a bl movie."

"What? You think I'll turn gay now by acting a bl series?" Gulf questioned.

"You won't be able to get the lead role anyway." She said with purpose of putting down his spirit.

"About that" Gulf scratched his head. "I went to audition today, and I got the lead role"

Cindy walked out of the room. But she thought twice and came back.

"So you are telling me after deciding? After all is done. I don't even have a say in all this as a girlfriend?"

"I know what you're thinking but come on it's just a drama series"

"I don't know" she doubted

"We've been together for so long please don't let this come between us." Gulf pleaded

"I'm not going to share my boyfriend with someone in the name of bl series"

"It's just acting things are scripted" He tried to calm her down.

"You want me to see my boyfriend make out with some guy?"

"You'd rather your boyfriend makeout with some chick?"

"That's not what I'm saying"

"I don't know what you want me to do. I thought you were going to be supportive but I guess not"

"Yeah this isn't working out. But I hope you'll have a good time though. I just can't it seeing with someone else even when it's scripted."

The jealous girlfriend walked out of the restaurant where they had been having dinner.

It was good that he hadn't gone with her. He was lucky she didn't ask more questions. He couldn't tell her that he had already kissed his partner in the first day they met.

The following thing that had been scheduled for him was a photoshoot for the series. They had to take couple pictures for their series promotion.

They were at the photo shoot for the pictures the following week

Gulf was shy. It was his first. Mew's eyes were not helping. He was stiff and embarrassed because of their kiss too. Mew came closer and stood infront of him

"Nervous?" Mew asked as he came closer to Gulf.

Gulf nodded his head. "Yes P'"

He was indeed nervous. Lights were illuminating in the white room. Infront of them was the photographer with his team and Mame with her crew gathered around a huge screen showing pictures of the two.

"Follow my lead. Wrap your hands around my neck." Mew said pulling Gulf gently until they were close.

"There is a big gap between them." Mame pointed out to the photographer. She already had an image painted in her head two had to execute it perfectly.

The photographer approached the couple. "You should let go and feel the love."

Love? Gulf looked at the man

What love? He asked in his head.

It was only their second time meeting and now they have to feel the love? He is brought out of his mind by the photographer speaking.

"Nong Mew wrap your hand around Nong Gulf possessively. There is too much space between you let's close that space. Your hand should be in the middle of the Nong's back" He explained trying to guide the couple.

Gulf stepped closer but still it was not enough.

Mew was supposed to just place his hand on his back. Instead his hand had a mind of its own. Gulf shivered when he felt Mew's hand on his waist. Caressing him softly. It awoke his senses. He felt the hand snaking it's way up his back slowly.

He looked at Mew in confusion. Were they supposed to be this...close?

He noticed Mew's eyes staring intensely. He looked at the people in the room and felt bothered like they were intruding their moment. It was too much for him. he had not felt this much pressure when they kissed. Mew's hand tugged him, and he fell in his arms. Now they were chest to chest.

Gulf was sweating.

He awkwardly held Mew's neck and forced himself to look in Mew's eyes. Mew slowly blinked and moved even more closer. They were now breathing the same air. Mew looked in Gulf's eyes and Gulf's eyes drifted to Mew's lips. He swallowed spit.

"Right we're almost there. Something is missing. You've been dating for a long time and this is the first time you said I love you to each other. You have to express that love without saying it. Prove it." The photographer shouted from the other side, trying to capture the moment between these two.

Mew gently rubbed Gulf's back, and Gulf looked in his eyes. He got lost. Everything vanished for a minute. He could only see Mew. Only hear him breathe. Feel his hand gently rubbing his back. His hands on Mew's neck tugged Mew even closer, sneaking its way in Mew's hair. Noses now against each other. Staring at each other expressing their love.

"Gentleman you've done a great job."

Gulf swiftly pulled away from Mew, cheeks red. He took a deep shaky breath and looked around the room and people were smiling at them. His ears went red. His heart suddenly pounding.

"Excuse me."

He left the room. He felt like the temperature had risen suddenly so he wanted some air. He didn't get far when Mew was coming after him.

"Nong are you ok?"

"I'm ok p' I'm coming back in a few mins I'm going to get some air."

"Ok I'm going to look at the pictures first." Mew said pointing at the direction of the room where they had been.

"Ok p' you go ahead." Gulf replied looking at everywhere except Mew.

He watched Mew walk away thinking maybe his girlfriend had been right. Acting a BL series was not going to end well for him.
