After I met up with George, I went on my way to the wilderness once again. I made sure to put on my mask when I was out of the city. Now, the sun is at its peak, blazing and I think I'm far enough from the hunters now. George said he'll help me. I just have to trust him, hoping that nothing will end up like what happened the last time. He won't betray me right?

Clay, focus. There are two hunters on your tail, George is helping you and you need to stay alive. The only way I can think of to get them off my tail is to do what I started. Make the portal. Get blaze rods and find the stronghold. Then, I can talk to those people and they could help me. Or fail, like everyone did. I shuddered at the thought, not wanting to know the outcome. What I needed to do now was get some materials and make some tools. I borrowed an axe from a villager in exchange for 18 logs. Despite having an axe, the villagers usually depend on travellers and adventurers passing by as they were bound to a curse. It was a fair trade for me. I cut down a nearby tree, getting 9 logs from it. I cut down another smaller one and gave the logs to the villager. I had 3 logs left.

I decided to use what I had learnt in training and turned 2 of the logs into 8 planks. Then, crafted 4 sticks and a crafting table. I had one log left. However, in the distance I see 2 people. Not many people came to the village but I brushed away the thought that they were the hunters and continued looking around in the village- looking for whatever loot I could get to help.

I enter a small oak and cobblestone house, when I hear the conversation of the 2 people.

"I think that is him," one of them said.

"I think so too, let's just have a conversation to make sure. Then, we can get him" the other voice said.

Yup, they were the hunters. You'd think they'll know that the wooden walls of the village were thin, but no. I knew their next step and I planned my traps in case the worst happens. If they try to attack me, I'll just run away. I didn't have much time. If that fails, I'll have to improvise with a trap- which I doubted I would have enough to make. I sighed and decided to search my bag for what supplies I had.

In a favour, I found a bottle which I had labeled as 'Splash potion; Potion of Deceiving'. If I had remembered correctly, I would have to throw the hunters and run away, while the hunters would see some to slow them down. Then, I heard one of them knocking on the door. I gripped the potion in my hand, closed my bag and the second I opened the door, I threw it and quickly dashed out.

I knew I wouldn't be affected by the potion because I had brewed it. Most of my potions I had brewed on my own, so they wouldn't be able to affect me. I probably should've gotten a brewing stand when I was in the city. I could probably ask George to send me one.

"Sapnap! I think I see him."

"Where? George, I only see the villagers"

"You idiot!" I said and pointed to the person that was supposedly who we were hunting down. He wore green clothes too and had bits of blonde hair sticking out. I wonder how he hasn't been caught yet. Finally, we meet. Our first encounter. I wonder what he looks like.

As if someone heard my thoughts, I saw his face- for a split second. Well, not really. He wore a mask. Even from the distance, I could tell it was a plain one. It was a round-ish white mask with a smiley face painted in black on it. Huh. Wonder why he wears a mask. I think it's always too hot outside. That's why I wear sunglasses everytime. I'm so used to it that sometimes, I forget when I'm wearing it indoors. They were round tinted lenses with a thick white frame.

Clay wanted to get me the same type of sunglasses but with those enchroma lenses so I would be able to see colour while wearing them. I am colourblind and I can't differentiate colors like red and green.

I wish that we could've sat in that coffee shop, talking forever. Forgetting all our lives and responsibilities and just enjoying how far we've come. Maybe even thinking about our future and what our lives would be if we didn't have to do what we did. Clay would probably be making videos or something. Me? I don't know. I'll probably have to ask Clay what he thinks.

"Let's just go in, there's only one way anyway. Plus, it's a 2v1" Sapnap said, interrupting my random thoughts.

"Sure. I'll go in first"

I opened the creaky wooden door. At first glance, I saw nothing. Then, as soon as I was going to walk in. I was hit with a weird grey cloud and then I saw Dream- or who I assume is Dream. I withdrew my sword from its place and started hitting him. His face didn't show a single sign of pain and I drew no blood- despite hitting with all my might. Confused, I turned to Sapnap, who seemed to be in shock. I turned back and Dream was gone. What? How could he have gotten away in a matter of seconds.

"George, why were you swinging your sword in the air?"

"He isn't invisible"

"What? He was standing there a second ago. I swear!"

"Yeah right. Let's just go, I think he threw an empty coloured splash potion so we'll be confused by it. I saw him run in that direction though, follow me!" Sapnap motioned for me to follow. I turned my head back at where I saw Dream. The grey cloud had disappeared and he was no one to be seen. It looked like we were heading towards an ocean. Why would he lead us there? Wouldn't it put himself at a disadvantage?
