I quickly found a place land- an island in the distance. The second I sat foot on the land, I rushed onto it, knowing that any time I wasted was more time for the hunters to gather resources and catch up with me. Running along the island, I saw a big cave. It had a few pieces of iron in it for me to mine. One in a small, shallow pool of water and another in the left section of the cave. Deciding to get it, I crafted a wooden pickaxe, mined a few blocks of stone- turned into cobblestone with the break of my pickaxe. I took the pieces of cobblestone and sticks and turned them into a full set of stone tools- consisting of a sword, a pickaxe, an axe and a shovel. Finally, I could mine the iron. I held the stone pickaxe and mined the iron ore, hoping to get as much iron as I could. Mining the iron, I only found two pieces. Oh well, I'll find more later on. Wanting to get to the other iron I had seen, I mined the stone behind the iron, creating a staircase for me to jump up- in order to get out.
The perfectly placed pieces of iron ore lay nearby where I had dug the staircase. I scuttled over to it, mining it and only finding two pieces of iron ore- aw, I'd hope I had gotten more. Eh, that's not a problem yet. Deciding not to explore the cave, I turned around to make my exit. On my way out, I noticed the stuck pieces of snow, that were turned to ice that attached themselves to the nearby stone walls of the cave. Odd, physics are weird- which is probably a result of me not paying attention in class. I jumped from the side of the cave that I was on to the exit of it. Knowing that my side of the cave was slightly higher, I took a leap to the other side, curving my jump midair ever so slowly to make sure that I would land on a block, instead of the pond of water that lay in the crack of the gap. I landed softly on the snow, and jumped up again, breaking out into a sprint- heading towards the exit of the snowy cave.
As soon as I exited the cave, I spotted a village, standing out in the pearl-white snow. Great, if there's an iron golem there, I can kill it for some iron. I swiftly headed towards the village- looking for an iron golem. Reaching, I saw a tall, menacing iron golem standing near the center of the village. Now, I just have to kill it- which is easier said than done. Iron golems were strong, I think they take around 30% of your health. Luckily, when we were training to be speedrunners, they had taught us how to properly kill an iron golem- without really getting hurt. Strategically, I ran up to the iron golem, got a hit on it with my newly crafted- and sharp- iron sword. As soon as I had its attention, I grabbed for the dirt I had in my hotbar and stacked up 3 blocks- the perfect height to hit the iron golem but not enough for it to hurt me. My sword followed the iron golem, my swift strikes dealing as much damage as I could. I hopped up and down, hoping to land an even more powerful hit on it. True to its name, an iron golem was made of iron and had vines and flowers growing around it. However those lines forming weren't just its vines- they were cracks in its iron. Elated, I dealt my last few hits, hoping for 5 iron ingots- the maximum number you can get upon killing an iron golem. One...Two....Three! That's lucky. Behind where I killed the golem, I spotted a house. Huh, if it has a chest I have a chance at getting more iron, if it doesn't it'll likely have a bed which I think I can use. Okay, I don't think the hunters are near, I can afford to spend some time looking for loot.
Jumping up the diorite stairs and dashing past the local villager who was using the grindstone on the diorite patio, I ran into the spruce house and aimed for the chest- which was only a few blocks away from the door. Opening the chest, I found some adequately good loot. Two diamonds, 4 bread in addition to the other in my inventory. 4 apples and an iron sword. Wait...obsidian? The 6 Obsidian lay at the bottom of the chest, though dull, they shone like gold in my eyes. I quickly grabbed every useful material I found in the chest. Huh, a saddle too? Eh I don't think I'll need that, I'll leave it in the chest.
Quickly looting the chest, I closed it. Almost immediately, a message of my achievements showed up in the corner of my eye.

Woah. That's weird. It normally doesn't do that. It looks almost like infected by the words of the sourcery of the enchanting table. As good as it can be, the magic of those "undying socerers" can be scary. Heck, even encountering one is scary- it doesn't matter if they were a mage or healer, the words of magic could send young Clay running for the hills- but i'm not him now- not anymore. A child can't stay a child forever, and sometimes they have to run away from what they thought life was or would be- I had to do that.
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the adrenaline of running and the thought of chaos and finally doing what my parents couldn't was great and all- but there was always something not there. Teaming up with the infamous Technoblade was an honor but we both want something we can't get; a proper childhood. Sure, we were basically brothers but from young, we were taught to be hunters- the outcasts of society. Instead of growing into adults, we grew into weapons of war- with the intention to fight in the war that our parents couldn't win. They forgot something; we fought our own war too.
We'll bring this war to an end. After these guys get off my tail, we'll end the war- for once and for all. Little steps at my time, Clay. Finish what they started.
