Buzz! Buzz!
I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing. "Hello?"
"Hey, it's me, Drake!"
"Drake? Why did you call so early?"
"Early? Sorry, my bad I thought you'd be awake by 10 am."
"ITS 10 AM!! What about school... oh no no no."
"Calm down... today is a holiday. Why aren't you awake by now?"
"I don't know. I guess I had a rough day yesterday."
"Okay well, I was just wondering. Would you want to maybe go out with me later this evening?"
"Sure what time?"
"Around five."
"Sure well see ya later then!"
And I hung up. Gosh, how'd I sleep so much? Anyway, let me tell my mom everything.
I explained to her what was going on. "Well, sweetie you've got yourself in a rough position here. I can't give you the best advice because you're at a point where even you don't know what's going on. If you think about it there are so many questions whose solutions we don't know of. All I can say is let things go with the flow you'll have to figure out what you want before you decide anything else." She said.
"Thanks and mom?"
"Yeah?"
"Do you mind getting me ready for date type thing tonight?"
"Of course sweetie look how grown up you've got." She looked over ya me with sad proud eyes.
I smiled. I do get all nostalgic when she says that. All those times my friends called me too skinny back in middle school and she hugged me and said, "Soon all those girls will be jealous of how thin you are." And those times mum and dad used to get into fights and she hugged me and said, "Everything will be okay."
Well, I guess there is only one thing left to do. Go dress shopping.
I picked out this cute strapless red dress. I adored it.
"Well someone is going out for a fancy night, huh?" The shop assistant was smiling at me. She was very pretty. Black hair, beautiful blue eyes, dimples. I blushed thinking about today night. "Well yeah..." I said. She smiled. "Remember one thing. Don't trust someone too easily." She said. That kind of scared me but I said, "Thanks."
I headed home. He is supposed to pick me up at five. And right now it is three-thirty. I better start getting ready."Mom!"I yelled.
"Coming!" She yelled back.
"Look at that beautiful dress! You look so beautiful." She said looking over at the dress.
"Thanks. Now hurry with the makeup he'll be here soon."
Mom did my makeup. Not too much because I don't like feeling like I covered my face with something. Just some eyeliner, lip gloss, blush that's it.
The doorbell rang. I hurried downstairs and opened the door.
Drake was wearing a beautiful black suit and red tie. His hair perfectly set on the right side. He looks so stunning I couldn't stop giggling. I'm pretty sure he sensed the nervousness because he kept on smiling. Drake looked me up and down. "You look... gorgeous." I blushed, "Thanks. You look mesmerising." He chuckled.
"Hi, Drake!" Said, mom.
"Hey, Ms Rosey!" He said excitedly.
"Mind if I take a picture?" Mom asked.
"Mommmmmm!" I whined. Drake laughed.
"Sure." Said Drake.
She took a Polaroid and winked at me.
I rolled my eyes blushing.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"It's a surprise." He said smirking.
