DILEMMA

CHAPTER 12

(The narrator here is Stiles)
I was driving my car volume at the maximum. I just needed a clear head and a bit of fresh air. I rolled down the window. I would've gotten a soda but I wanted to go home. I drove my car thinking of what to do next, be nice? Get angry? Of course, I was angry but I didn't want her to feel bad.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
Oh no, I guess I'll have to make a stop at the petrol station. I saw one ahead of me. I drove there and got out of my car. There was also a supermarket. I went inside the shop. I bought two ice creams for my two-hour drive. I went back to my car. I heard a car which sounded like a sports car.
VROOM!
It was Drakes car. But Alexandra wasn't in it. What happened was something wrong? Why was he driving so fast? I ran to my car turned on the engine and sped down the highway towards the beach house. A girl was walking on the sidewalk with a bag. It was Rosey. I immediately slowed down to a halt.

I sat there on the sidewalk waiting for some taxi to come around. It had been forty-five minutes no one came around. Anyway, how can I expect a taxi at almost midnight on a highway? So I went to my contacts about to dial Stiles but then... I couldn't. I called my mom at the end. After several rings finally, mom picked up.
"Hello?" My mom said waking up from her sleep.
"Hey, mom... I stranded in the middle of a highway can you please pick me up?" I said with an extremely tiring voice.
"Where is Drake?" Mom asked with a bit of worry and anger in her voice.
"Mom we fought..." I was starting to cry again."I kissed him and then Stiles came and he wasn't supposed to come because he wasn't supposed to know that I was with Drake because then he would get angry. He saw me kiss Drake and then he drove away. Then I told Drake that I can't be with him. That I need time that I'm so very confused. But then he got angry and he told me to get out. Mom, please come fast."
"How could he leave you in the middle of the highway at midnights! I'm coming." I never heard my mom so angry before.
I sent her my location. She will be here in an hour. What would I do till then? It was the middle of the night anyway. I decided I would walk towards home. I'd stop if I find a shop. I was scared I mean it was the middle of the night in the state of California, on a highway. I sent a text to my mom telling her that I'm walking to the nearest shop. Then I walked with my bags.It had been five minutes and I saw a car... it was Stiles's car. I immediately called my mom. And said, "Mom Stiles is here no need to come, bye." She probably didn't leave yet because she must have wanted to drink water and get fresh before a two-hour drive. Stiles slowed to a stop and got out of his car. "Rosey are you okay? I'm sorry I fled off but I saw Drakes car pass by I was just at the petrol station when I saw his car without you in it and the car was going fast. But then-" I hugged him so tight I was scared out of my life. "So you're not angry at me?" I said with hopeful eyes. "I am angry. But your safety is more important, get in the car we will talk it out." He said.
