My alarm rang. And I woke up to my hair being frizzy and looking like strayed ends of a broom. I got off my bed and went to the washroom. I stepped in the steaming hot shower. It's also one of the places where I think the most. While the water was slowly penetrating through my hair to my scalp I was thinking of what will happen over at Drake's beach house. I didn't think it was a great idea to lie to my childhood best friend. I'm everything but a liar. But telling him the truth would probably be worse right? What is it with him? Why is he so protective of me and why does he want me to stay away from dreamy Drake? Drake can't harm me in any way. "No matter how bad the situation is you should never lie, it'll only make things worse." Said mom back when I was four and caused a disaster at home. I didn't tell my mom I was lying to Stiles. I know she won't approve it. I was beginning to change my mind and tell Stiles the truth. But then I thought that being a baddy once wouldn't harm, would it?
I stepped out of the shower all soaked and ready to get dressed. I was kind of excited because I'm finally getting out of this dreadful imprisonment of not being able to experience life with someone else, somewhere else. I wore some denim shorts and a red tank top. I was obsessed with scrunches back when I was little, the trend is coming back now, so why not throw a few in my bag just in case? I put two scrunches in my handy dandy purse. I wore a red one which matched my tank top on my wrist. I combed through my hair, blow-dried it into wavy curls. I decided to leave them down. I could always use the scrunches just in case.
I cleaned my room, made my bed and straightened all those medals and showpieces. I was only going to be gone for two days but for me, that was still a lot. I watered my plants enough to leave them for two days. I took my bag and went down.
I took out my pan ready to make some scrambled eggs, poured two glasses of almond milk and cut some apples and decorated them with blueberries and yoghurt. I placed all of this on the table, not forgetting a glass of water and waited for my mom to come down.
I heard footsteps on the stairs and my mom came in the kitchen. She always dressed so beautifully and she is the most gorgeous woman I've ever seen. I was wondering when she'll start seeing someone new. She hasn't seen anyone since the divorce. It's been nine years.
"Sweetie you're only going for two days. You didn't need to do so much." Said mom, she was smiling.
"That doesn't  mean I won't miss you." I said giving her a soft smile.

We ate our breakfast together.
"Mom I think you should join tinder." I said making the most serious face as possible.
"Sweetie we have talked about this." She said trying to hold back a feeling I didn't recognise.
"But mom it's been nine years!" I said a bit disappointed with her all-time answer.
She sighed. She looked like she was thinking about it. It sent shivers down my spine. Not because I was scared but because I was happy and in shock of the fact that she was going to see someone else.
"To be honest, I have been thinking of seeing someone else. We need money for college and I'd like a male in the house."
I laughed in the way she was trying to make excuses to the fact that she wants to see someone. "Okay, mom... I'll give you time to think today and tomorrow. When I'm back we have a lot of work to do. Starting with shopping for a photoshoot." I said.
"Okay, Sweetie." She smiled at me it almost looked like she was proud of me.
I heard a car pull up on my driveway. I hopped up and ran to open the door. "Well someone looks excited." Said Drake with smiling flashing his sparkly white teeth. I blushed.
He came and carried my bag to the car. "Stay safe sweetheart. I love you." Said mom pulling me in for a hug. I hugged her tight. "I love you too." I said while Drake was trying to not interfere in the mother-daughter moment.
"Now you'll take care of her right?" Said mom to Drake smiling, trying to joke around. "I'll take care of her just like and alpha takes care of the beta." He said smiling trying to reassure her.
"Bye, mom!" I said walking away from my home.
We sat in the car and got comfortable.
"So it's going to be a two-hour drive, we'll make a stop soon in an hour to grab some snack and get refreshed for the next hours drive. There is a cooler in the back, with everything from popsicles to a few lemon beers." He said looking at me like it's the happiest moment of his life.
"Well, this surely sounds like a mini-vacation." I said smiling at him.
I didn't notice how incredibly beautiful he looked. I was too busy saying bye to my mom. He was wearing a white button-down shirt with the first two buttons open and some denim light blue shorts. His golden blonde hair resting on the right side of his face and his intense blue eyes staring right at me. His pale skin was glowing with the sunlight falling upon him. His jawline formed a tiny bit of a shadow on the rest of his sunlight falling upon him. His jawline formed a tiny bit of a shadow on the rest of his cheek. "Hey look we're matching!" I said pointing back and forth from my denim shorts to his.

He laughed slowly turning his head from my face to the road. It seemed like he was hiding an expression. He was blushing. "You're such a kid Alexi." He said. I laughed and looked outside my window. The engine roared and the car started moving. I took one last glance at my house with my mom standing at the doorsteps. And off we went...
