Background
Shirou Emiya was tired even though he had convinced kiritsugu to teach him magic he  could not use most magecraft,while he could do things like projection and structural anailzation he had trouble with almost anything.Until he found out about runes,they were so simple almost natural in fact his skill in runes was so great that he got a scholarship for the clock tower.He trained for days on end with books he gained from Kiritsugu's collection of things hes taken from his targets to books he managed to buy from different mage families in London.Eventually Shirou moved back to Fuyuki where he Summoned caster Cu Chulainn who while being annoyed at not being Summoned as a lancer still decided to teach the kid what he knew about rune magecraft.

Noble Phantasm
The Primeval Runes-Rank A+,runes used by Odin and later by Cu Chulainn and others during the age of gods,these runes were taught to Shirou by his Servant and can be used for a variety of different things.

Rune sword-Rank C,a sword made by Cu Chulainn given to Shirou that can be easily affected by runes from setting ablaze to sparking with Lightning.

Twin disk-Rank C,two disk that can do a variety of different things thanks to the runes on them,from attacks to flying to even teleporting between the two.
