I went home with heavy steps.
I just can’t get over and can’t forget what happened between Liam and I.
I don’t know why I kept on thinking about it that in the very first place, I’m irritated every time it enters my mind.
I held the door knob and turned it for the door to open.
As I raise my head, the faces of my parents surprised me.
“Mom? Dad?” I squeezed my eyes but they were really there.
“Mom! Dad!” I ran to them and gave them a warm hug.
“Hi my darling?” My dad rubbed my back tenderly.
“I so missed you! You’re here!” I exclaimed loosening my hug.
“Shut the door first…” my mom requested as she pointed the opened door.
“Oh… sorry.” I followed and shut the door close.
I threw my backpack on the couch and drag my parents to sit with me.
I really missed them so much. They were both busy working and are hell kind of workaholics.
Mom manages our textile business in France and my Dad helps her in stuffs.
They were calling and even talks to us through skype but that was not enough, though.
Six months seems like a century for me. Sounds exaggerated.
As we seated, I hugged them again so tight. Can’t help it!
“Hey! Easy come baby.” My Dad in his most tender endearment. He petted my hair.
“I just missed you both! Hmmm, can I have another time?” I insisted. How I longed for them?
“can I join?” my sister interrupted and we all turned to her direction.
My sister was with me all the way especially when mom and dad were not with us.
“Of course! Come my darling!” my mother said.
"This is a group hug!!!!” I shouted.

I’m in a good mood as I went to school.
“What’s the smile, eh?” Leila nudged my ribs slightly. I smiled at her wider.
“Lily, Mom and Dad were here.” I said excitedly.
I call her Lily, for a change.
“Oh? I should have known! That’s a surprise. They left their works in France?”
“Yeah! And guess what?”
“What?”
“They’re staying until my birthday!” I added.
“That sounds great!” she commented.
“Yeah! I’m excited.” I sat on the bench near school garden. Students were passing in front of us.
“Leila! Kaye! You two!”
We turned to the one who shouted. Definitely, Juliene.
“What about us?” we both asked.
“Are you playing with me?” She asked sounding disgusted.
“Playing with you?” We asked both.
“The lollipops on my locker?”
“I have no idea. Swear!” I announced with my right palm open on air.
