The Ladies Hostel

chapter 2:Reveal their past

Let's know about the hostel residents. Every resident will be considered as an important character and The Hostel itself is the main character- I will say, if anyone asks me :)

Titir Khan:

A beautiful girl, coming from a middle class family had an excellent academic result and she is now studying "English literature" in one of the best universities of her country.
She was always "a girl with good image" and the parents of her acquaintances always asked their kid to be like her. Her struggle started after her father's sudden and unexpected death.

His father, Tayeb khan left the world when she was only 10 and her brother was near about 4 then. Her mother was so young and tried her level best to maintain them properly. Her mother could get married again despite having a lot of of pressure from the patriarchal society.
However, she did not pay any heed to them. She stayed away from getting married again thinking that without her active presence in her children life, they would not be able to do what they were supposed to achieve if their father was alive!
Having such a sacrificing and affectionate mother, Titir had only one moto in life and that was not to hurt her mother Anyhow.

In the childhood, Titir wanted to be an artist. But her grandparents were too religious that they could not allow her to learn "music"." But she was an amazing performer without any institutional training". She could just sing like the original singers after listening to them quite a few times. Her teachers and fellow friends used to make explicit compliments when she used to perform on their " school house" every thursday.

Except for the academic life, she had a "little love life"of 600 hours!! Yes, she had. Though she was that kind of girl who fight sigh of boys.

With all this ups and downs, she made an amazing result and got the chance to be admitted in the capital where she got no familiar person to live with. People in this city would give you everything but shelter in their own house. 

One day while searching for a rented house or PG she somehow got the address of this hostel and ended up being Preeya's roommate and eventually the best friend forever!

Preeya:

This girl was polar opposite of the former girl. She was only kid of her parents. She belonged from a wealthy and powerful  family. His father was a big shot. His businesses reputation is worth mentioning here. But, Preeya did not love the way she was brought up. She wanted to live on her own. So, she decided to leave her house after her Higher Secondary.

Accordingly she came to the capital one night all alone and somehow started studying " Fashion designing "to fulfill her dream to own a " boutique house" of her own which her parents had never really supported. She bore herself the expenses as she was not in "good term" with her father. But sometimes her mother was found to call and cried for her and preeya could not ignore that naturally.

This girl had some voluminous hair. She loved herself to be rebellious. There was a rumour that she slapped her ex so hard that the poor guy lost one of his teeth. When Titir shared this story with their other hostel mates, rolling her eyes Preeya termed it as " exaggeration "!

Because the boy cheated on her though they had a relationship from class 6 to class 10! Poor Preeya struggled too hard to move on unless she met Anas! This guy was trying to build his youtube channel. On every friday they met, they hugged, they ate together, they roamed around and be loved by each other.They seemed to be the " love birds".

Nipa:

That young lady was a believer of hinduism. She could not remember for how long She stayed up with her aunt's family. They were badly poverty stricken that they could afford the bare minimum to live a decent life. For that her uncle did not want her to continue her study. So what he did was giving Nipa in a marriage with such an aged person that he died on the 7th night of their dreadful marriage! The old man was so rich and it was 3rd time marriage for him. Can u believe Nipa was only 15 then?

Yes there remains law. So remains the game of law breaking.

Afterwards she luckily got shelter in one of her school teacher's house. She was kind enough to have nipa's head on her shoulder. She studied from there and started her Career as a nurse.She had well reputation for her service and the "smile" which she had could alone removes half of your troubles-trust me.

I can't describe the past of every ladies of the hostel and even I should not :)

Momi:

I just want you to know about "Momi". She was 5'8" inches generally considered as "exceptionally tall girl " in our context. She had some curly long hair. People somehow found her to be "little chubby". She belonged from a broken family. Her parents got separated when she was only 7. She was the youngest member of the family. She had one elder brother and one elder sister. Her other siblings were married already. Her sister in law did not like the idea of sharing house with her in the capital. She had her aged mom in the village whose only job nowadays was to worry about her daughter's marriage.

Momi was 32 and claimed that she still did not experience any " love journey "in her whole life!!! A good number of girls seemed to dislike her for distinct reasons!

Nipa, Momi used to reside just next to Titir's room. Sneha is with them who is a make up maniac and an amazing double timer! Sometimes she was caught to play a good role to start a" Good fight" amongst the girls!
