Aria, Meg and I are making our way to school, and just talking about everything and nothing.

"I don't get why you don't like pickles" I say to Aria "They're really good" Meg adds.

"They are too salty" Aria points out "There are sweet pickles" Meg says "But those are gross" I scrunch up my nose in disgust.

"True" Meg pulls her lips into a thin line and we finally make it to the school entrance.

"So, how is your brother?" I ask Meg and her face completely falls.

Shit, I made her upset.

"He, um, he's doing better" She mumbles and shrugs "That's good to hear" I nod my head.

"I didn't mean to upset you" I tell her after a moment of silence "It's alright, I shouldn't get upset over it" She says.

"Okay, we'll see you after class" Aria tells Meg, she pulls a small smile and walks towards her class and I have to make a quick stop at my locker.

When I open up my locker, there is a bouquet of red roses.

"Oh, someone's got an admirer" Aria laughs as I pull the flowers out and there is a small note in between two of the roses.

'sorry I haven't seen you in a few days, was sick :( but I hope you enjoy your roses, Rose

-Cole'

I'm probably smiling like an idiot, and Aria just rolls her eyes at me.

"You are obsessed with him" She tells me "Am not" I defend myself and put the roses back into my locker.

Today is the day we get our progress reports, which basically tell us our progress in each class.

The teacher went out of the room to get them and I am anxious to see my progress and if I'm actually doing good in each class.

"Okay, you guys can only open them at home" The teacher says before calling all of our names to get our progress reports.

Once they are all handed out, the bell rings and everyone rushed out of the class to open their reports.

When I open mine, I am really disappointed.

I'm only doing good in two classes, which are English and Science.

In Sex Ed and History, I am doing horrible and Mr.Irwin teaches me
In both classes.

My parents are going to kill me, almost literally.

I promised them good progress and grades, but I'm just failing.

I meet Meg outside since she's coming over today and we are walking together.

"What kind of food should we order?" I ask, I'm not really in the mood to make anything and it's not like my family is there to cook anything, so take out is my only option other then starving which I would rather not do.

"Mexican, I really want tacos or Arabic food, that's really good too" Megan says "Or Indian, or we can just get pizza and chicken wings or --" I cut her off.

"Make up your mind" I tell her "Do not rush me, child" I chuckle at her as she looks deep in thought.

"We'll just get pizza" she shrugs and I nod.

Soon, we make it to my house and quickly go to my room.

"So, what did you get on your progress report?" Meg questions me as she gets comfortable on my bed as I change out of my jeans and into comfy sweatpants.

"I'd rather not talk about that" I sigh "It probably isn't even that bad" Meg rolls her eyes.

"It is"

"Okay, I believe you, but if you think their really that bad, get a tutor" She says after a moment of silence

"Oh my goodness! Your a genius!" I can't believe I didn't think of that before.

"I'll look for tutors tomorrow, there has to be available tutors"
