Once they're laying close to each other, it takes a moment for Maxanarda to really comprehend what was happening. Here she was, as a human, sharing a bed with another human. Never had the idea even grazed the back of her mind. But there's no one else she'd rather be so close with. Even with the room only lit by a lamp, Maxa gets an up close and detailed look at the markings starting where Bucky's metal arm was attached. She runs her fingers softly over it, but is stopped by his hand over hers. He smiled a little to her, and starts to softly kiss the side of her neck. She closes her eyes, and just lets herself melt into the feeling of his touch. He then presses his lips onto hers. Her emotions spiraled, inside she felt herself lose control of them easier. Having been human before or not, her love for Bucky seemed to guide her. She felt his metal fingers lightly glide through her hair while she had a hand on his cheek. Her hand ended up finding its way into his long yet shorter hair too. Their kiss was long and slow, gentle and sweet. Neither had spoken a word since they'd laid down, they simply let their love do the talking. Their hearts were at ease with their minds and souls. Bucky kept being reminded that he couldn't remember a time he'd felt so at peace, let alone with someone else. He left no inch of her soft skin untouched. His hands either glided over, or his lips kissed any spot he pleased. Though this was all unfamiliar territory to the female leader, Maxa without a doubt trusted the soldier's intentions. And Bucky knew he could say the same. Their shared gentle affections eventually drifted off into separate deep sleeps. It wasn't until then that Maxa's chest started to shine a soft golden glow. It was her Arcanicius Shard, its glow gradually flew out of her chest. It flowed through the heart of Barnes, then out onto the floor on Maxa's side.
Maxanarda was up before the crack of dawn as usual. She was never one to sleep in, no matter her form. As Bucky stirred, he'd reached for her in the bed before remembering this. The sheet fell off his bare chest as he stretched his arms high above his head. When he turned to find Maxa, he found a little more than that.
"What the h-"
"Hush, lad," Maxa spoke briskly yet soft, "She is still asleep." In her lap, a beast's head laid as she stroked it. Its body was long and slender, with features much like their own.
"Where did she come from?" He whispered, quietly walking over and sitting next to Maxa.
"During your sleep, did you feel something in your heart, lad?"
"Yeah..."
"I had felt it as well, and thought it to be illusions when it played in my head. But the moment I saw her, I knew what happened. What we had seen was no illusion, but a silhouette of her."
"How in the world..."
"There are times in my life when Amaravalani makes decisions I'm unaware I'm ready for. It would seem I am ready to raise a youngling of my own, and that you are beyond worthy of sharing my spark." Bucky almost couldn't find the words to so much as move his mouth. It still amazed him to this day he was worthy of the only Naita Koa to begin with, but to be worthy of her very heart enough to create a brand new life form...the thought boggled his mind. He'd even thought he didn't deserve love from others anymore. At first he just stared at the small beast resting inches away.
"You mean, what I felt, and what you felt, was forming her..." he slowly reached out his hand and rested it on the beast's neck. Maxa nodded,
"She is our very own, lad. Made from the souls in our hearts." Bucky shook his head in disbelief,
"I've had so many dreams, so many nightmares, I didn't think anything of the one last night." The Soldier fell silent for a moment, "It's amazing how much I see you in her. Have you thought of a name?"
"Indeed I have. How does Sikia Storm sound, lad?" He huffed with a half smile,
"Sounds like her." The young beast is built much like her father, what with having the body of a wyvern and brown fur on the end of her tail underneath. Her head was a cross between theirs, streamlined perfectly for flight. From the back of her head to the tip of her tail, semi-long black scales covered her. Her chest bared grey metal, with a spike going up towards her lower jaw. The rest of Sikia Storm was covered in flesh, a trait passed onto her from Bucky. He lightly placed a kiss on Maxa's temple,
"I'll never be able to erase what I've done, but at least I now have you with me through it all. You never cease to amaze me, again and again."
"You will have both of us now." She looked back down at Sikia, noticing her head begin to move. When she opened her eyes, their beautiful amber coloration instantly caught her parents' attention.
"Good morning, young one." Maxa spoke first. Sikia Storm raised her head. She was genuinely confused and curious at the same time. Maxa gestured between her and Bucky while saying,
"We are your parents, lass. Mother, and father." Sikia's eyes glanced between the two, still obviously oblivious. Both Bucky and Maxanarda Evanna stood up as the mother voiced,
"There is much to teach you, Sikia Storm."
