Colleen has an interesting relationship with her Uncle Craig. He doesn't say a lot, but he shows his love for his niece in his own way.
For example, before going onstage for a concert, he makes sure Colleen's hair isn't caught in her mask's elastic straps.
Colleen understands her uncle's quiet nature, but she just can't help teasing him a little bit. Her favorite thing to do is ask Craig about something, then respond to his silence normally, like this conversation she had with him the other day:
Colleen: Uncle Craig? Do you have any inspiring words for the kids today?
Craig: *silence*
Colleen: You are truly a fountain of wisdom. Thanks, Uncle.
The others find this hilarious, but one thing even funnier than that is Craig's tendency to sneak up behind Colleen and scare her.
Shawn has a video he filmed of Colleen waiting backstage with a Rockstar in her hand. Craig can be seen slowly creeping up behind her. As she takes a sip of her drink, Craig pauses directly behind her and waits for her to notice him.
After a minute, Colleen looks over at Shawn and asks, "What?" Then she looks around and starts at the sight of Craig behind her. Shawn starts laughing as Colleen smacks Craig's shoulder and stomps away.
Despite the teasing back and forth, they adore each other. Colleen does say that Craig communicates in other ways. "He speaks with his eyes," she jokes.
