Chapter 9

Molly and I were out for a walk around in the boys’ gated community of mansions. It was really breathtaking by how big and beautiful these houses are. Kind of like snowflakes and how they are all different but still look the same in their size. It would be nice to live in one someday, but I really like living in a nice small flat.

I was pulled out of my ponders when Molly pulled on the leash after a squirrel. “Molly, no. Come here!” I said to her. She didn’t listen and kept running after it. “Ok Molly, lets go back home now,” I pulled at the leash to bring her back to the sidewalk. She sniffed her way over and kept exploring the yards, but not too far from the sidewalk.

“Well that was a short walk,” Harry said as he walked down the stairs.

“Lots of squirrels out this morning,” I unlatched the leash from Molly’s collar and she ran to the kitchen.

“When are you going to take her from us? I love having a dog, but I prefer cats,” Harry said, meeting me at the end of the staircase.

“Trust me, the moment Niall and I get a house, I’ll take her off your hands!” I laughed, walking into the living room. I took a seat on the empty couch and kicked off my tennis shoes and turned on the TV and searched for a movie or something. I couldn’t find anything good so I turned off the tv and played on my phone, getting caught up on my games on Trivia Crack.

“Baby sister, put your shoes on we’re going out!” Harry said, walking through the living room and to the front door.

“Um… ok?” I said to myself, putting my shoes back on and walking to the front door where Harry was waiting. I followed him out to his car. “By the way I was born first, so your my baby brother.”

“Ok whatever you say,” Harry said, backing out of the driveway.

“Actually, mom said it, not me,” I pointed out. “So, where are we going?”

“Oh, elder sister, you can’t know until we arrive!” Harry laughed slightly at his attempt to be funny.

“Why did I agree to go with you?”

“Because we are going to have some bonding time! Plus I haven’t seen you in forever,” Harry said, turning the radio on.

We drove for a few more minutes until we pulled into an alleyway. “Uh Harry?” I said, slowly getting out of the car.

“Don’t worry, we just need to go in the back way so we don’t draw attention.”

“You mean so you won’t draw attention?” I corrected him.

“Well dating one of the members of One Direction and being my sister might draw attention to you as well. So, yeah we might draw attention,” Harry explained himself.

“Well then,” I said. Harry locked his car and we entered a small cafe.

“Mr. Styles, so happy to see you! Two today?” a host said, Harry nodded. “Please follow me to your table.” We were seated at a small booth in the back.

“This is a really cute place, I didn’t even know it existed!” I said, looking around.

“Yeah, their food is pretty good as well,” Harry commented, looking over the menu, which I did after taking in the scenery.

A while later, a waiter came and took our orders.

“How’s life? Still working at that clothes shop?” Harry sipped his water.

“Its good and yeah still working a little, even though Niall is against it,” I answered.

“Why is he against it? A little work didn’t hurt anyone.”
