We were right there, so close to each other and I said " you okay?"
She took a deep breath and said "I'm fine.'' At that moment I grabbed her hand and she squeezed back. I was surprised I wondered if she liked me.
"H-hey June can I ask you something?" I stuttered
"Ask away"
I wasn't sure if I should do this but I only have now ''do you like Daniel?" "Because he likes you, but don't tell him I said that, he'll kill me.''
"No, I like someone else" she said shaking her head. I felt so much relief then I let out a breath and we sat in silence, other than the constant groans of the zombies.
Time: 10:48 Location: science lab
After a while of holding hands I finally let go. a few minutes later I said ''June, I need to tell you something I-I really like you, and I will feel really dumb about doing this if you don't like me, but- ." and I leaned in and kissed her, and she kissed back and then she said,
"I like you too, but-" she paused for a moment. "I don't want to ruin our friendship."
"If you go out with me I promise I won't let that happen."
"Okay" she replied
